Spider

you spun me in a web of lies

turning and turning your thread clockwise

trapping me in your sticky ignorance

you took my innocence

exposing me to this cruel world

that I wasn't ready for

you are vulgar like a spider

those eight legs stretching wider

to suffocate me

you will never let me be free

you inject your poison into my veins

you refuse to restrain

your poison fills up my lungs

and you lick up my spilt blood with your long tongue

I can no longer fight you, or your cruel ways

never should I have stayed

You ugly, ugly , black spider I let you win

because stuck is my skin

this little yellow butterfly

will no longer fly

with my wings restained

it's like I'm concealed in your sticky chains

you drained all the life out of me

now I will never be free

my wings they wilt

my body is stuck to this web you built

one of deception and lies

you are the reason for my bloodcurdling cries

you are the reason for my death

as I let out my last breath

I see you consuming me as my sole floats away

one last time, one last day

my sole looks down upon you

this butterfly may have actually escaped you

it may have been death that granted me my freedom

but no longer shall I linger, I no longer need him.
