First Block, I'm hopeful for a better today, reminded of the horrors of yesterday
The smells of orange juice and pancakes still linger in my brain.
Second Block, my patience runs thin
Between equations and drama, I'm frustrated.
Electives, I give my all til there's nothing left to give
Clarinet notes and pacing footsteps drown out my thoughts.
Third Block, there's not an easily guessed emotion for miles
I sit in the back silent as ever, the background in all the noise.
Fourth Block, the cries of laughter from chosen skits make me forget the pain for a bit
Smiles pose on everyone's faces.
Advisement, all hell breaks loose
Between screams of distress and clutters, notifications from my phone are all that keep me-
Bang.
