Hi there, i know the chapter is fairly short but the first half i don't really want to go into too much detail with. Thanks for reading!

I pushed him away, breathing heavily. "What was that?" He tilted his head to the side and raised his eyebrow sarcastically. God, I wish he didn't do that - it just made him look even sexier.

"Well, I would say that was a kiss", he smiled. I felt like an utter moron. I know that was a kiss. OMG, Damon kissed me! My eyes widened and he smiled cockily at me, moving closer until he was once again staring down into my eyes. His eyes were so blue, so mesmerizing.

"Will you be my girlfriend?", he breathed. Delight crept up on me, like a winter chill. My mind felt hazy but what Damon had suggested was what I'd always wanted.

I was breathing heavily but managed to get out the fatal word "Yes".

He appeared to let out a sigh of relief and once again brushed his lips against mine. The lightest touch becoming deeper and more intense with every second that passed. "Come on, lets go".

"Where?"

Staring into my eyes, he told me "Everything will be fine. Just come inside". And so I found myself stepping out of the car and up to the worn front door. Damon looked over his shoulder and smiled reassuringly at me. Despite the trepidation inside, his smile won me over and I stepped across the threshold.

The inside was totally the opposite of the outside. The walls were a pristine white and there was a modern air to the place. But there were also antiques tucked into the smallest of corners, making the house seem old and a witness to many horrors.

I felt an unease creep up on me and the hairs stand up on the back of my neck. I stopped in my tracks and turned round, taking a tentative step back to the outside world. Back to safety.

There was a rush of wind and he was standing in front of me. I looked over my shoulder and back to him, incomprehension clear on my face. "H...how...what...how did you get from there to here?"

The look on his face told me he was trying to make a decision, a decision whether or not to tell me something. He sighed and took a deep breath.

"Because I have supernatural powers. Because I'm a ...".
