"What's the prophecy?" Asked my mom. I looked at her. " let's not talk about it ok." I say as my voice gradually gets louder.my mom gave me a sad look and nodded her head.
"I gotta go." I say loudly and started to walk away. My mom caught up to me. " Maya, what's wrong?" She asked.
"Nothing!" I say and push past her. She then zoomed us to her apartment.
"Maya we need to talk now. What's the prophecy?" She asks. I took a deep breath.
Flashback
Maya's POV
Six years ago
I sat there and just cried.
Crying was the only thing I could do. "Maya!" I hear someone scream. I close my eyes and cry harder. "Alura!" I see my brothers face peer around the corner. " found you." He says. He then hugged me, for s ten year old he's good at comforting someone.
" it's not your fault." He says burring his head in my neck. I can feel his tears on my neck.
"It is my fault Henry! If I was there maybe dad didn't have to go! If I was here I could've saved Dad. Now the prophecy is set in stone, the one thing I've tried to prevent my whole life is coming true!" I say yelling and sobbing.
I got up and walked to my room and slammed the door. I just sat on my bed and thought about what would of happened if I was there.

My life at the moment is completely a mess. I was supposed to leave for college tomorrow but I decided to leave tonight. I packed my stuff and left
