Y/n p.o.v
Me and Toriel peeked out the crack in the door. Footsteps thudded down the hall, "Mom? Y/N?" Frisk called. I opened the door, "Frisk? What are you doing here?" Toriel whispered. "I came back to help you guys, now, come on, Sans is dealing with them." Frisk said. Toriel obtained a puzzled expression. "I'm going to go tell Sans I found you, okay?" Frisk confirmed. They started running back to where they came from, "No, Frisk, Wait!" Toriel said, almost too loudly.
"Hey, Sans! I found y/n and Tori-"
And a scream echoed through the hall. Toriel let out a gasp, "Oh no, no no no..." she pushed past me, and ran to where Frisk lay. I followed. Toriel scooped up Frisks body, "My child.... oh no.. here, allow me to heal you."
Frisk didn't seem to have any visible wounds, but with every second, their HP lowered. Toriel let green mist flow from her paws and curl around her and Frisks body. "Mom, you have to get out of here. Now." Frisk said. Toriel nodded, "Child, where's Sans?" She asked. "Here, and guys, we have ta scram. Like the kid said, let's go." He said, running down the hallway, Chara tucked in his jacket. Frisks HP was now stable, and she squirmed out of Toriels grasp. Toriels eyes widened, "C-Chara? Oh my child! What happened to you?" Toriel said, running over to Sans and taking Chara in her arms. Toriel brushed Charas hair out of her face, and hugged her close, and silently wept. I walked over to Toriel, "we came here to have her meet you, but there was.... that, it's over there!" I shrilled.
A dark, looming, shadow veiled creature was standing at the end of the hall, it's smile a blinding red. It crept closer, walking, yet not making contact with the floor. We all backed away, "Sans. Get us out of here." I say. Sans nods. The creature was faster than it walked, and was almost on top of us. We all hooked arms and grabbed hands, and Sans's teleported us to his house.

I crept closer, and almost had them. I reeled upwards and came crashing down, only for my claws to scratch wooden flooring. My smile faltered. I stood upright, gathering the smokey tendrils and remaking my body. I gathered myself. "Please stop hurting them. Just come back, and I'll give you as much determination as you wish." A low, older voice said from behind me.
Gaster studied me, "Determination. Is that not what you want?" He said. I turned to him, "I have my doubts. You only want to trap me in the void, along with the rest of me, only to starve for the rest of eternity." I say, my voice smooth, but husky, filling the room, coming from everywhere and nowhere. "You are dying." Gaster commented.
It was true. My figure was becoming transparent and thin, my bones frail and creaking, and my smile seemed to falter more often.
I try to make myself more regal, "I know this, do you take me for an idiot?" I hiss, struggling to make myself look more intimidating. Gaster stared at me blankly, "Hate, you must come back. You are a danger, yet no hateful being can thrive without the energy they gather from you through the void. If you die, this world becomes..." Gaster tapped his chin, thoughtfully, "less interesting." He finished. "I am no power source, nor a thing of entertainment!" I lash out. "Good cannot exist with out bad. Hate, you are the bad, and you take great pride in this, come back so we can prevent your death!" Gaster says, raising his voice. I thought about going back. More than once. I was always hungry there, yet I didn't die there. I am always hungry here, yet I am dying. I grew spiteful, and angry. My smile faltered and my eye twitched. Gaster came closer, "Hate. You are becoming undone. And in your undoing, the universe does. You are going to throw out the balance of the universes." He repeats. I back away as gaster takes a step forward.
"Determination. =)" I say. I retreat to the shadows, and flow through the walls of the house, writhing my way through the structure and making my way out into the city.
