I get into my usual work clothes,

Black jeans

Black t-shirt

Black jacket

I guess I like the colour black.

My ribs healed fine, just a little pain now and then.

I met Derek at the beach where the body used to be and looked around.

"There's nothing unusual here" I sigh, "just keep looking around, we're sure to find things." "Things?" I repeated in amusement, "well I don't know! For all we know we could find a... FINGER!!!" "Wait wat?" "look! A decaying finger! I wander what it would be like in a stew..." he grins. "oh my god ew! where do you even get these ideas?!"

It doesn't belong to the victim... so... there has to be another I ponder. then a female body drifts around an old boat right in front of us. "Oh my" I stutter

"Yes, let me get it" he says as he walks into the water "but that's no, there is only one body! unless they struck again!" "well der" he laughs dragging the body behind.

"Well she's missing her middle finger..." says Derek " I guess they didn't like each other!" He laughs "how are you so comfortable with dragging a dead body and have it staring at you?" I nearly laugh. "Experience my dear, experience" and without another work he walks up to be and kisses me.

I get home and smile, but I still don't know how I feel. On the drive home, he sat there and smiled in an awkward silence. I have always fancied him, but I never thought he would fancy me...
