Chapter 7

Clary's PoV

When I was downstairs my brother looked at me like I was crazy.
"Hey there big bro!" I said. "Who was he?" He asked. "I actually have no clue." I replied.

Our parents was out of town this week so big bro was in command. And because he hated when I slept around he made me ride with him in his car to and from school, and took the keys to my motorcycle which made me real sad so I didn't talk to Jonathan on the whole ride to school.

When we were at school Jon went to his group of friends while I spotted the Lightwoods.

"Hi guys!" I greet them while walking towards them. "WHERE WERE YOU? I WAS LOOKING FOR YOU LIKE FOREVER LAST NIGHT!" Izzy screamed at me. Oh shit, I didn't think she would react like that.

Izzy's PoV

Clary told us what happened and about Jonathan, I was kinda glad he took her keys. She really had to learn not to worry her friends like that.

"Alright let's just get to class, shall we?" I asked. They just nodded and we walked to our lockers to get our stuff.

Clary headed to history with Alec while Jace and I headed to math. "Soooo, when are you gonna ask Clare bear out?" I asked Jace. "Clare bear?" He questioned. "Clary then, but don't avoid my question, when are you going to ask her out?" I said again. "I'm not going to." He answered.

Clary's PoV

When I got home Jonathan sat on the couch. "Hey sis." He said. "Hey bro." "I've been thinking," he started, "I'm going to ground you." "The hell bro!" I yelled frustrated. "You deserve it. So after school you are going to go directly home." I was getting real mad now. Who the hell does he think he is? He can't rule my life.

"If you want to go out you are gonna have to ask me first and then maybe I'll let you go," He said. Damn I felt at least a little bit happier. "But," he continued. Shit. "I'm gonna come with you no matter what." He finished.

I already hate this.

I went to my room when my phone buzzed.
Iz♥️: Hey, wanna come over and play games?
Me: Can't, Jon grounded me.
Me: I can come only if Jon comes with me... ugh.
Iz♥️: That's cool, the more the merrier (;

I went downstairs and walked up to Jon. "Can you come with me to Izzy's? She wants to play games." I asked Jon.

"Okay, let's go" he said.

When we went up the stairs to Izzy's house I knocked on the door. Jace opened the door wearing only sweatpants.

I forgot I was staring at his abs until he started talking again. "Liking what you see?" He said smirking. I could feel my cheeks getting hotter and I was pretty sure I was blushing like crazy.

Jonathan coughed to get our attention and Jace opened the door for us.
