Today was the day.

Her hair was a light ocher brown that was like shining mud on a sunny day, and whenever she moved her head, it was like the mud was a cascading brown waterfall that never ended.

Her eyes were like the eye of a storm frozen in time, with rain just barely holding back.

Every time she looked at me and smiled, Her stormy eyes unfroze, and I would watch the storm become as dangerous and beautiful as every storm's eye.

Then her eyes would freeze again, and she would look away. She was also as kind as a sweet spring wind, but at the same time she was able to turn that wind into a gale.

Her voice was like hearing the ocean lapping at the shore, and when she laughed, I heard the waves crash in a singing symphony.

For these reasons, I love her with all of my heart.

I went into class, and she looked at me.

My heart was beating faster than lightning could strike the earth

And then it stopped.

Her eyes were frozen rolling clouds. They seemed so peaceful, and yet they filled me with sorrow. However, I smiled and waved back.

She looked away, as blissful as ever, and I watched her glance at a friend of mine, and her storm's eye unfroze. I mournfully watched her storm roll with the force of booming thunder,

but not for me.

I have since been forced to watch her stormy eyes roll endlessly,

but not for me.
