Kay Winston {unfinished}{editing}

This morning I woke up with a ringing headache as Ruby communicated with me through my head.

We have a mandatory meeting today during breakfast. Those who are late will be forced to do cleaning duty she announced.

Everyone around me seemed to be going about their regular day as I clutched my head in agony.

This happenes to me as I was exiting my room after brushing my teeth.

Alex just so happened to be walking by.

"Was it the announcement?" She asked expectedly.

"Yeah," I answered with my teeth clenched. I was now bawled up on the floor.

"You'll get use to it," she wipped off continuing to walk away.

Wow,not even gonna help me? I thought.

Nothing personal sweet cheeks, I heard her voice resignate in my head.

This time I clutched my head even tighter. I guess we could communicate with eachother through our heads as well. Fun!

Damian POV

It wasn't long before evryone filed into the meeting room located next door to the cafeteria.

The room had a large wooden oval table with wheeled black chairs around it. Pushed off to the perimeter of the room were other gray chairs without wheels and to the two sides of the rooms were two black boards.

Finally, my favorite part of the room was a plain large wall used for the projector. Giving the entire room a rectangular shape.

5 minutes went by as everyone filed in. Everyone but Kay...

What could she possibly be doing?

I waited about 15 minutes to start the meeting but she was still nowhere to be found which was ironic since this meeting was for her.

"Where's Kay?" I asked Alex as she approached me from the corner of my eyes.

"I was just about to ask you the same thing," she replied eyes widdened.

I sighed.

"Here, start the meeting without me," I told her handing over the agenda I was suppose to go over."I'll go look for her."

I scanned the entire building but she was still nowhere to be found.

Where is she?

I finally got pissed when I went to her room and found no sign of her there either. But just when I was about to leave to tell Alex, I heard tapping coming from her curtain covered window on the left side of her bed.

It started out slow....tap....tap....tap. Then those taps became loud bangs and whispers. Boom!

The noise stopped.

I slonly crept towards her window.

I unraveled the curtain and to my surprise I didn't see a thing.

Now this is creepy.

I blinked a few times to see if my eyes were deciving me then out of nowhere came a note floating on the outside of the window.

It wasn't an ordinary note. It was made of black sand particles with neatly written white letters.

I wasn't sure what is was or who did it but from the looks of it, it had to be the doing of some other asar.

But wait. What other asars poses this type of ability?

But then it hit me.

None.

At least none that were good.

My heart began to race as I decided to read the note.

Dear Damian,

  I have her and if you want her back you know where to meet me. It's only a matter of time before we have another family reunion.

                                                Yours Truly,
                                                          Dad
P.S. Don't even think about playing your little tricks on me if you ever want to see your friend again.

My body went numb.

This is bad. This is really bad I thought as I clenched my fist.

I could feel my face turn red when I rounded the corner into the meeting room to tell Alex.

She was in the middle of discussing new drills when I pulled her aside.

"Whats the matter?" She questioned trying not to make a scene.

"He took Kay," I told her sternly.

Her jaw dropped. She knew exactly who I meant.

I nodded my head in agreement to her reaction.

"Everyone this meeting will be post poned," she began to announce. "You guys can leave."

Everyone rushed out within 10 minutes then Alex and I began to talk.

"How do you know he took her?" She started.

"He left a note," I answered unfazed.

"We have to go after her you know that right?" she stated grabbing my shoulder trying to get my attention.

My gaze met hers "I know."

"Then suit up," she told me marching out of the room.

I continued staring into an endless gaze.

What does this bastard want with her? I hope she doesn't say or do anything stupid. If so I have a lot more to deal with in my hands.

I tried to compose myself as I exited the room and spoke to everyone through my head.

Alex and I have important business to handle. In the meantime this place is to be on full lockdown and Denis is in charge.  I could here a chorus of whines echo through my head.

Save it. If I'm not back by tonight make sure you obey the curfew and do what you're told. I'm talking about you Ruby.
She objected but I ignored her.

Wish us luck everyone and remember...I love you all.

With that I stopped communicating and went to go suit up.

Damn.
It's been awhile.
