Harry's POV
I still feel guilty about everything. Tonks and Remus are gone, so is Fred but at least Voldemort's gone now. I look over at Hermione then Ron. "If they hadn't met me they wouldn't be in as much pain" I mumble under my breath. "harry don't say that, its ok mate, they sacrificed themselves so we could live" "yeah harry its ok" what would i do without them. Ron and Hermione have helped me through so much and i don't know where i would be without them. "Minerva is starting her speech guys shush" "yes mum"
"Dear students, welcome back to the first year of our new Hogwarts. for the people confused on why there are students that have already graduated here with us today is because we have extended Hogwarts to go for 10 years. this is optional after the 7 original years and the seventh years from last year have returned from the horrible events of last year. i would like to say, on be halve of Hogwarts, we are sorry to all that have passed, our professor Severus Snape, Professor Remus Lupin, Lavender Brown, Fred Weasley and the many more who died. on a better more happy note, all seventh to 10th years will share a dorm in the new, rebuilt astronomy tower, and we are giving these students iphones and more freedom. from now on no one is required to wear uniforms apart from their robes during classes, and for seventh years up, your classes are flexible, meaning, for the more dimb of our students, you take them in your own time. on these new iphones, your timetables are already on there, and will generate when your skin touches your phone, you may choose from the box which shall be appearing, Now. now you may all eat" after Minerva's speech we all chose our phones and saw the classes we are required to take. Hermione and myself helped set up everyone's phones then we all went to our new dorm after dinner.
the common room was large, with big windows looking out to the black lake. the dorms were split by two people in each room, and when you put your luggage in the room your name is carved into the plague on the door. the roof was also glass, and you could see the stars. the common room was black and white, with accents of the house colours. after the war, all of the houses kind of re-united and now here are less of a feud between all houses. the rooms went as such :Myself and Ron, Hermione and Pansy, Draco and Blaise, Luna and Ginny, Cho and Angelina, Dean and Seamus, Neville and Cedric, George and sarah and Mary and Lilana.
i went into my room and me and ron set up our dorm. afterwards we went back to the common room for the night. after two hours of talking about random crap, we all went to bed and waited till tomorrow where fun starts, and by that i mean classes.
