Christina's POV

Al grabs hold of my wrist a little too hard, and only tightens his grip when I protest. Almost in tears, I force myself to look into the eyes I once thought I loved, and whimper as I see the fire flashing through them.

"Let go..." I beg weakly, trying to pull away, even going as far as to grab his wrist as well, purely to try and force his hand from mine. "Al, please. You're hurting me."

In a response to what I say, he brings up his free hand and slaps my cheek, hard. I feel the sting afterwards, and let out another whimper as he pushes me against the wall.

"What, so you're a coward now?" he smirks, finally dropping my wrist and instead using his full strength to make sure I can't move away from the wall I'm pressed up against. "Come on baby, I know you're so much more than that."

"Leave me alone.... please..."

"'Please'?" his tone comes out as a sneer, and I instantly regret saying it. "Are you really that pathetic now?"

"Get away from me. And.... stay away."

"Why, what are you gonna do? Call out for your boyfriend to come and save you? Because you know he'll come off worse."

I tense as he says it. I know it's the truth. Hurting Will is one of the easiest ways to get to me. And all Al seems to want to do since we broke up is get to  me.

"If you dare lay a finger on him," my voice shakes, but I try to keep a slight threatening tone to it. "I swear to God I'll kill you."

Al chuckles, like he's amused by the whole situation.

"Oh, I can promise you that if you stay quiet, I won't hurt him. Not physically, at least... but emotionally? I can't control how he'll feel after I'm done with you."

I close my eyes and prepare for the pain I know is coming.

They fly open as he throws me to the floor, and he starts kicking me with all the force he has. I cry out in pain and try to pull myself away, but then he drags me up and bangs my head against the wall, hard enough that my vision blurs and starts to darken.

I can't focus on anything else. I think he's still hitting me. But I can't tell.

Will... please help me...

And then I can't feel his weight on me anymore. I fall down, my back sliding against the wall, but before I can hit the ground, a strong pair of arms wrap around me, catching me.

Everything goes dark.

A/N; And now we go back a few months in time so you're not gonna find out what happened for a while now :p.

Anyway... hi.
