Lost At Sea (Kevedd)

Chapter 3

His vacation from the small town just became a lot more dull. Kevin hated the idea of not being able to escape the Dorks who occupied his space. Sure it was a huge ass space. . .but his space none the less.

The three friends headed up to the ship trying to find their way to the meetup area for their class. "Nazz, you know one of the dorks looked your way smiling. Id be careful if i were you. They may try to start shit while we are here. "

Nazz rolled her eyes. "They are all harmless Kevin. Besides just because you have beef with Eddy, doesn't mean the other two are as bad. Ed is just a big goofy kid, and Edd is really smart and interesting to talk to. Look at the bigger picture Kev."

Kevin rolled his eyes. "They are shady and are always trying to start shit. You're too nice and give them way too much credit."

Nat pulled on Kevin's arm and looked at Nazz making sure she stayed far enough not to hear his whispers. " I bet it's one of the two shes going with. When has she ever defended someone she doesn't have a thing for? I got twenty on the cute smart one."

Kevin made a grossed out face. "No way Nazz would go for someone like double dweeb. If it's either its gonna be Ed. She has a thing for strong athletic types." A smile formed at the edge of his mouth. "Like me."

"Dude, not to burst your bubble but she admitted to having a think for lady bits sometimes last year. She's into girly types dude." Nat smirked and threw his arm around Kevin's shoulders. "He's the best of both worlds for her. He can give it to her good but look really really cute doing." 

Kevin pushed the other away. "Dude, your gay is showing a bit more than normal." He chuckled softly. 

Nat laughed softly, "You're just mad you're not my type."

"Will you both shut up." Nazz rolled her eyes and motioned for them to follow her once they were on the boat. "According to the map from the school over here is where we are suppose to meet up."

Nat smiled at Kevin. "Let's make it fifty?"

"Deal."

Edd pushed his way to the front where the captain was going to be explaining what would be going on the next week. A lot of the kids here today had never had an experience like this and the captain wanted to be overly positive that everyone knew what to expect. 

"Double D, when can we eat?" Ed whined from behind Edd. 

Edd smiled softly and reached into his bag and pulled out a package of peanut butter crackers for his taller friend. "This should be okay until the captain is done talking, and then we will go straight to the dinning area, okay Ed?"

The taller of the boys happily took his snack and sat cross legged on the ground by his friends. "Thanks Double D!" 

Edd smiled and placed a water next to his friend as well. 

"You treat him like a fucking dog." Eddy rolled his eyes and crossed his arms. 

"I do not!" Edd exclaimed. "I simply know what to expect with him. We have been friends for awhile now, Eddy. I know what to expect with you as well," Edd reached into his bag and pulled out a sucker and offered it to his other friend. 

Eddy narrowed his eyes before snatching the sugar treat. "Whatever."

Edd chuckled and faced forward as a man came to the small set that was in front of the group. 

"Hello! I wanted to personally welcome all students here today. My name is Peter and I am the captain of this here ship. There are a few points I want to go over since you all are on the younger side and to my knowledge on your first cruise. All your food and drinks have been taken care of. In each of your rooms on your nightstands are envelopes that hold not only your spare room key but your meal card as well. When in the dinning areas you will want to present this at any checkout and one of our staff members will scan it, clearing your total. You do not want to loose this. If you do you will want to get with one of your chaperones and we can take it from there. Next, I want to be very clear that we are scheduled to have one or two rainy days this week. If there are storms that come through, please don't be alarmed, our staffed is trained to handle it. If there are any special instructions that pertain to the weather we will have an announcement over the intercom. Please listen out for those and pay close attention. Each area on the ship has specific rules and regulations. You will want to read each area's rule plaque located next to their entrances.  Be on your best behavior and we will have no problems. If you have an questions or need any help, please ask. There are no such thing as stupid questions when they prevent stupid actions. To my knowledge you all have been given your room assignments at school so you should have that infirmation already to go. We will have other guests on the ship so please be mindful and respectful.  Overall I hope your senior trip is a blast and I hope you have fun!"

Peter waved and exited the area. Edd smiled brightly and looked at his friends. "Let's go put our stuff in our room and head out to explore the areas. I can make a map for each of us and we can mark the areas that we want to explore!" Edd giggled and did his best to help Ed stand. 

The three followed the group and started to head towards the rooms on the lower floors. "This is going to be great!"
