Chapter 9

As we walked down to the lake I pretty sure I looked like an idiot. I was full on smiling and if I had eyes they would probably be shining.

" Where here" Jacob announced.

" I really wish I could see this place I bet it is gorgeous" I said

" Wait did I say we where here, we are actually going out to the middle of the lake on my Uncles boat."

" Really that's so cool" We got on the boat and in about ten minuets we were there.

" Hey Jay can you describe what it looks like"

" Well it is clear blue water, with humongous pine trees surrounding the lake."

"Jay can I ask you a question"

"Of course"

" Am I just a pity case to you. Is the only reason your here is because you feel bad for me. If that is how you feel I don't think I should be here." I can here his breath falter.

" Do you really think I would do all this for some pity case. First of I had to get my Uncle to let me use his boat which is like a child to him. Second I had to get on my knees which is not something I do for just any girl." When he finished I released a big gulp if air that I had not realized I was holding.

"Do you really mean that"

" Did you really not hear what I just said?"

" I heard you, it's just hard to believe, all the other guys I have known have treated me like I am a china doll but that's not me I am a strong person. I can take care of myself."

" I will never ever ever treat you that way."

My heart fluttered in my chest, this was probably the best date EVER!
