I woke up with the sun glaring through my window. I looked at the alarm clock and it said 8:30. "Oh, no!" "I'm going to be late!". I ran to the bathroom to get dressed and saw my brother Matt. "Going somewhere, Lily?" I ignored him and ran to the bathroom and got dressed. I wore plain blue jeans with holes in them and a pink plain shirt. I never wore anything fancy just things that made me seem normal and not stand out. I brushed my hair even though it was already perfect and down. I walked out of the bathroom and saw my brother. "Hey, Lily. He said. He was wearing a black sweatshirt with a logo for his favorite basketball team. "Hey, Matt." "What are you doing today after school?" I asked. "Oh nothing really just gonna go to basketball practice and then come back home." Boring! He was always so boring and never did anything fun. "I plan to go to my friends house after school, I already told mom that."
I went downstairs and saw my mom sitting in the kitchen and with her hair flattened and she was already dressed for the day. "Hey mom!" I said. "Hey, Lily, I made eggs on toast for breakfast if your okay with that!" Mom replied. "That's nice, thanks." I served myself and while eating me and mom didn't really talk and stayed silent. "So, going to your friends house and spending the night there after school?" Mom asked. "Yeah, I'll see you tomorrow, then I walked out the door. I lived in the town of Granite Falls and went to school there. Not a lot happens where I live and I like it that way. I go to Mountainview High School. I went to volleyball practice there so it was a school I enjoyed.
I kept walking to school and saw my boyfriend Dan walking to school and I ran up next to him to walk with him. "Hey, Dan!" Then I gave him a big hug. "I feel like I haven't seen you in forever!" "It's only been a couple of days!" Dan said. Spring Break had gone by and I couldn't wait to see him. "Well you don't call or text me enough!" "I call every day and text every day!" Dan replied. "That's still not enough." I stopped arguing with him and just walked to school staying by him. I was a Freshmen and I had been going to that school since Kindergarten. I went to my first hour class which was English. I hated English! My teacher was Mr. West and he said we were going to do some stuff on the parts of speech and then we had to write a report about the book we had read the week before.
The book we had read was The Hunger Games which I didn't feel that bad about writing it because I liked the book. I started writing my book report and then after what felt like forever the bell rung. I went to History next and then I just went throughout the whole day with no issues because I liked every other class besides English. I went to my friends house and I stayed there until about 7:00, then I wanted to go to the gas station to buy some pop and snacks for the night. Then I saw a man all in black. He just stared at me like he knew me in a sort of creepy way. I was in the spot of my town where no one could see me. I said, "Who are you?" He just stared with a strange grin on his face still. Before I could react he launched at me and I tried to scream and he put his hand over my face. He was surprisingly strong and no matter how hard I tried to get his hand off my mouth. He had an iron grip that was even harder than my dad's. He kept his hand over my mouth and threw me into a van. I tried to scream again and then he closed the back. We started driving and then when I looked out again I couldn't see the town. I started crying and hoping this was all just a bad dream. I just wanted to go back to my friends house and cry. "I'm going to die."
I felt like I was in the van for hours, but it must have only been about ten minutes. I didn't have a phone to call mom or my friend, I never thought I would need one. When we arrived at the house he opened the back end and grabbed my arm again, he didn't cover my mouth this time, I guess he didn't care if I screamed. "Help!" I kept yelling that. I saw a good look at him when he go me again, he was tall, had brown hair and a light skin tone. He must have been only about late 20's mid 30's. I saw his house that was a 2 story light brown house, I would've liked it if he wasn't kidnapping me. I kept screaming for help, but no one ever came. I hoped this was all just a dream and not real. He brought me in the house, it was a nice house with a pretty tannish inside. He moved a bookshelf aside and he opened a latch on the door. He threw me inside and then he closed it, I hope this is just a dream.
