I woke like every other morning. I still wasn't over my father's death, not even after 7 years.

When I finally got somewhat calmer I got out of bed and pulled on my clothes - the same I wear almost every day - dark gray jeans and my light blue shirt the looked at my watch. It was 9:15.

"... Shit I slept in!" I muttered to myself, but then I remembered it was Sunday.

I went downstairs and into the kitchen the immediately to my coffee. I poured it into a cup and threw like 1 kilo sugar into it the started to rake little sips of it 'cause it was really hot. I turned around with the cup in my hand and saw mom.

"What do you think of the dinner last night?" she asked with a little smile on her face.

So what do I think about the awkward dinner where mom and that Marcus guy where the only ones who talked and sometimes asked questions, wich of Lexa and me gave very short answers to show that we still have our tongues.

"To be honest... It was shitty and akward." I answered after a short pause.

"Well you can still fix it!" she said with a half smile on her face.

"Yea, I'm going to babysit Lexa for about 2 months. I'm sure we are going to have a good day together... or not." I said in an annoyed voice.

"I didn't meant it like that..." she started and I raised my eyebrows at her. ".... Marcus and me are going on a business trip for the entire autumn break. Lexa will move here for that time... tonight." she finished and my mouth dropped.

"You would lock me in the same house with a stranger for 3 weeks? What if they're serial killers and this is their tactic, Marcus gets the parent to leave with him and until they're there Lexa gets the kid to trust her and when he/she finally trusts her she kills him/her before the parent comes home? "
I said quickly with faux nervousness in my voice and she just let out a sigh of annoyance.

" You can't seriously think that!" she said annoyed.

" Why, we can't leave it out of the opportunities!" I said trying to fake seriousness.

"Clarke, let it! Please!" she said with a sigh.

"I can't promise anything." I said with a little smile on my facel, but I didn't waited for her reaction, I turned my back on her then went up in my room.

I was working on a new drawing - wich had a wolf who's howling at the moon on it - when I heard the bell ring.

"And here we go." i muttered to myself in annoyance. I don't wanted to live with a total stranger for 3 weeks from today.

I went downstairs and saw Lexa. I pulled a fake smile on my face and waved at her in greeting, but she just rolled her eyes. It really irritated me and even that fake smile turned into a frown of annoyance.

I went after Lexa into the dining part of the kitchen. I sat on a chair right in front of Lexa and gave her a deadly gaze.

"You might have to live here,... but... my house my rules!" I said to her so that only she could hear it. She rolled her eyes, but didn't say a word.

The silent was deadly between us until my mom came.

"Kids, we have to go now! Please don't burn the house down." she begged and I gave her a half smile.

"Okay mom! I won't cook." I said, still smiling and Lexa started laughing on my answer.

"Don't worry I can cook." she said, still laughing

"Then we won't starve and the house isn't going to burn down." I said.

Mom and Marcus went out the door, Lexa stood up and walked beside me and I glanced up at her. Her face was emotionless.

"Where can I bring my stuff?" she asked with the emotionless mask on her and I thought about it...

The living room was under restoration, we didn't have a guest room and she can't go to mom's room, because of private things... so the the only opportunity is... my room. When I realized that I have to sleep in the same room with her I sighed.

"What?" Lexa asked with her eyebrows raised.

"In my room." I said, rolling my eyes.

"Like me that much?" she asked with a very little half smile on her face.

"No, but the living room is under restoration and the couch is in the garage, where I don't thinkyou want to sleep. We don't have a guest room and you can't go to mom's room, because... of private reasons... So your opportunities are my room or the garage. Which one do you want? I don't care where you are 'till you don't talk to me." I told her in an annoyed voice.

" Your room will do it then." she said with a sigh and started walking in the direction of my room and I followed.

When I got upstairs she was already in my room and packing her things out onto my bed from her suitcase. She had surprisingly many books and not so many clothes, she said, she liked to read, but I didn't thought this much.

"You wanna open a library or what?" I asked giggling.

"Why? Do you have a problem with it?" she asked with anger in her voice as she stood up. Her body language showed power and anger.

"It was just a joke, calm your shit... By the way you can put your things in that wardrobe, there." I explained and pointed at the wardrope behind her. "I just have my drawings in it I'll get them out... Just a minute." I said and started to bring the drawings and sculptures onto my bed next to Lexa's stuff. She starts to look them trough.

"You wanna open an art gallery or what?" she asked as she saw how many art pieces I have and I laughed.

"I know you didn't meant it that way, but I will take it as you admiting my talent... We made them with dad. I haven't seen them in a while, they just remind me of him..., but why are you the one I'm telling it to." I said and sat down on my bed and Lexa set beside me and continued with viewing the drawings.

"These are beautiful. Was your dad an artist? "she asked in a calming voice.

"No. He was a reporter and a mechanic at the same time, but he loved drawing, painting and sculpting. I got that from him." I told her calmly.

"Your up." she said with a little half smile which was only visible for half a second I'm not even sure I saw it right, but what was I up with? I'm confused.

"What am I up with?" I asked with confusion in my voice and one of my eyebrows raised.

"One of us asks first and the other answers then the other asks and the first answers... I asked and you answered. Noe you ask and I speak the truth. Ask!" she commanded at the end of her explanation.

"Okay... What's with your mother?" I asked shyly and she turned serious. "You have to answer. I did too and this is your game. Play by the rules." I said my shyness faded now somehow.

"It's late! We should head to bed!" Lexa said after a longer pause and I was pretty tired so I thought it wouldn't be bad if we drop the theme for later.

I went to have a guick shower first and after that I went up in my... or should I rather say our room? I thought to myself when I saw that Lexa was reading on my bed. We aren't sharing that!

"Get! Off! Of! My! Bed!"
I said angrily and gave her a dangerous glare.

She looked at me with an expressionless face and like nothing happened she turned her attention back to the book and read.

I was too tired for a fight... She was lucky this time, but tomorrow she'll sleep on the floor.

I laid in MY bed and almost immediately drifted off to sleep.
