Ch. 7: Partners & trust

Airachnid Pov-

"I've have bee a fool, made mistakes... monumental ones. I now realize that i was never destined to be a leader ,or even a equal partner, & I'm at peace with that. I have gained a clear understanding of my place in the universe, of who i am, of who i was always meant to be-- Starscream, second in command, humble servant to lord Megatron. Thank you for listening, Soundwave." Starscream then turn his back to the door in front of him, leaving Soundwave.

As Starscream walks in a to the front deck, Megatron's voice was heard.

"Is this true?" Starscream looks up seeing Airachnid speaking to Lord Megatron.

"Starscream never mentioned it?" I questioned.

"If he's up to his old tricks, i shall grind him into power."

Starscream clears his throat as Lord Megatron his helm to his second in command.

"Starscream."

"Lord Megatron, please excuse Airachnid's impertinence. Now, what was it that i allegedly failed to mention?"

"The harbinger."

[Starscream Gasp] "What about it?"

"Eons ago, A deception transport crash landed on this planet." I replied showing the ship of the computer.

"Oh, please. Common knowledge. I scouted the crash site when we first arrived on earth." Starscream added then i started.

"Then i presume you recovered the experimental weapon prototype the harbinger had been transporting." I said with a smirk while Lord Megatron stand behind me as leaving Starscream with no words, but a gasp. Lord Megatron then spoke.

"Where is the crash site?"

"It was never logged into your ship database." I replied.

"You failed to record the coordinates of a Deception Transport!?" Lord Megatron yelled Angrily.

"An Oversight, master. But i noted it's exact location." Starscream replied.

"Then you can lead Airachnid there so that she may retrieve the prototype for me." Lord Megatron said with seriousness.

"My personal native guide-- How Delightful." I replied with a wide smirk on my face as i see Starscream with Anger on his face plate.

Starscream followed his orders by Lord Megatron & lead Airachnid all the way to the prototype.

Not to long later they arrived at a location in a Forest. As they landed on the ground.

"Your chosen vehicle mode lacks thrust." Starscream said trying to insult me.

"Are you going to preen, or are you going to guide?" I replied annoyed.

"I will reveal the exact location of the harbinger when you tell me exactly what we're looking for." He asked walking to me with anger.

"That information is Need-To-Know, & right now, you don't." I replied informing him.

"Oh, you would do well to respect me, Airachnid."

'As if.' I thought as he continued.

"Before i joined Megatron, i was air commander of a squadron of energon seekers."

"On cybertron." I added as i continued "And how many eons ago was that?" I said as i left Starscream speechless a bit.

[Scoffs] "Just recently, i personally vanquished one of Optimus Prime's fiercest warriors-- Cliffjumper." My optics wide a bit hearing that Starscream was the one who snuffed Arcee's partner.
