octavia always tried to see the good side to people, even her dear uncle kai— realizing his side but knowing his actions weren't the right way to go about things, killing basically all of her aunts and uncle and all.
"Tav! come on, I heard we're learning about the Salvatore's today," Octavia's friend Kara lights up "aka your favorite—" Octavia cuts of her friend with a laugh.
"yeah, yeah I'm coming Kara" Octavia smiles, Octavia admired her friend, still seeing the light in life. Octavia was once the same, until she realized the monsters that can come with this beautiful world.
While walking passed the main door Octavia sees her fathers van pull up, "come on O! Dads back." Josie smiles pulling her sister to the drive way. Octavia and her dad weren't really close, not that they didn't love each other because that definitely isn't the case. Octavia just feels like the last of her fathers priorities and her mother is never home always looking for more and more recruits.
The triplets warmly greet the new comers,
"Welcome to the Salvatore School. We're your tour guides." Lizzie smiles
"I'm Josie,"
"I'm Lizzie"
"and I'm Tavia, We're sisters." Octavia introduces herself to the boys.
"Triplets." Josie adds.
"Fraternal, obvs." Lizzie pipes in. The new recruit— Rafael looks between the three confused.
Alaric steps in saying, "Rafael, why don't you go ahead with the girls, while I talk to Landon?"
Josie and Lizzie immediately link arms with Rafael leading him towards the school, as Octavia stands back a bit.
"Morning, Hope." Josie and Lizzie sarcastically greet the Mikaelson girl.
Hope rolls her eyes, "Morning, girls."

Lizzie leans in to Rafael, "More like despair" Octavia rolls her eyes trying to hide her smile.
"I heard that."
"No you didn't"
"Didn't have to."
As the girls bicker, Alaric groans annoyed looking towards Octavia, "everyone behave." Octavia immediately gets offended, "Why are you looking at me? I'm not doing—" she stops herself before taking a deep breathe and chiming in with the girls, "Love you, dad." Before glaring at Hope and her father stomping to Kara and into history.

"I'm always blamed. I'm so so tired of it Kara. I'm always last in everything, "Lizzie, Josie and then oh hey Tavia." Or "Tavia stop starting with Hope" first of all I don't have trouble with Hope Mikaelson! We were friends! but does he know that or care? Of course not. I try so hard to get him to care and he doesn't. He's the reason I have any inch of dislike for Hope, his children go, Hope, Lizzie, Josie and guess who's last? Oh! Me." Octavia lets out a huff jumping down into her mattress.
"Cmon Tav. You know he loves you." Kara sighs.
"I used to. I just don't see it or— feel it anymore. I don't even have my mom to make me feel better anymore. I only have you anymore Kar."

"Hey Dorian any new books come through lately?" Octavia asks the librarian.
"What'd I say about using my first name during school hours? But for your luck a very old diary by one Elijah Mikaelson may have made its way to our library." Dorian smiles towards the young girl. "Oh cool, I mean anything else?" The young girl ponders.
"Octavia is something wrong?" Dorian asks genuinely concerned, the two were always close. She'd always been around him while Alaric and Caroline were away. She preferred it actually. "Of course Dorian— just an off day." Octavia smiles.

"So Landon can't be compelled? Vervain I'm guessing." Octavia puts her input while the triplets were talking with their father.
"Yeah. So we've locked him into the werewolf transitioning area until he's—"
"What? You have got to be kidding me— Dad you cant just lock people away into dungeons. I'm tired of people treating other like they're worthless and- and disposable." Octavia outbursts Alaric's face forms from confused to worrisome as with the girls. "Tavia- Tav! Calm down. We only put him down there because we don't know if he's a threat to you and every other person in the school." Alaric clarifies. "O— are you okay?" Josie asks concerned. "Perfect." Octavia fake smiles walking out of the room. "Keep an eye on her will you?" Alaric asks Josie.
