You had been on a hunt with Dean, Sam and Cas for awhile. Claire hopped in along the way, despite how she felt about Cas.
Things got a little out of hand and you were hit and injured during it and you could barely walk. Claire stayed in front of you as the trio fights not far from you guys.
❝Y/N!❞ Sam yells as he notices you're down.
❝I'm okay!❞ You yell back.
❝Cas!❞ Dean yells as Cas ducks from an attack.
❝I wish my goddamn leg would work!❞ You hit your leg but winced soon after. ❝I feel so useless.❞
❝Hey, it's alright. It happens.❞ Claire tries to assure you as she keeps looking to see if anyone's going to attack.
❝It's not!❞ You yell. ❝I cant protect myself like this. Or them.❞
You fall silent and as does Claire before she turns around and says:
❝I'll protect you.❞ She says.
At first you try to interject but realize you really are helpless at this point. You let out a breath and nod before she turns back around.
