"Okay, forty percent, that's really good for ticking over three AM now." I say. "I might actually get somewhere, guys! I might make it to Night Four - wait. Wait. Where the ffff-ubernuck is Ducky?"

I put the camera down and hit the right door light. Dramatic music rings out as Ducky is illuminated, giving me his horrifying hungry glare. I squeal and slap the door button.

Clock.

"Oh no."

Cloklokloklokloklok-

"I just had to open my fucking mouth." I whine, sinking into my chair. "Hnnnnnn - Shut up, phone, not now! I'm preparing to kamikaze!"

I take a deep breath and raise one hand, kind of jumped-out-of-Naruto-style. With my other hand I bring up the camera.

"It's been a good run, dalies and mentlegen." I say. "Sayonara, my Geeks. Don't let the psychopathy end with this... Alright, come at me ya sunuvabitch!"

I put the camera down and flail spastically as Ducky screams in my face. I shut my eyes and wince, sinking back into my seat.

"... I might'a taken him down with me." I tell the camera. "Phone! Not now! I have to... Wrap up here, actually. Thank you all for enduring this nightmare with me. I hate that fucking duck sooooooo much. I will one day disassemble it, and put anything useful into my next Steampunk armour project."

I pause momentarily, then grin.

"Also, you're probably gonna put something in the comments about my new Steampunk goggles. Yes, I made them, the video is on MarlyGeek Makes, but mine are special. I actually went to my optometrist and I got my script in these bad boys. I am never taking these off!"

I spin in my chair childishly, holding my steampunk goggles. I look back at the camera.

"Okay, that's enough silliness. This has been another MarlyGeek Tech. I'm Marlene the Geek, you're my epic and original Geeks and Wannabes. Love to you all, and sayonara."

I end my video just as my phone stops ringing. I sigh and stretch my fingers.

"Welp, I guess that's just too-"

God is a girl, wherever you are

Do you believe it, can you receive it?

God is a-

"Belle, my bae!" I smile as I pick up my phone.

"Marlene, why is your phone always on silent?" Belle groans.

"It wasn't; I was recording." I reply flatly.

"Still trying to hit Night Four, ay?" Belle asks smugly.

"Is there any actual reason you called?" I mutter.

"I'm going to PAX." Belle states. "I'm on the Machinima panel this year!"

"That's great, sweetie!" I exclaim. The lucky lady was actually seen by the team and they recruited her. Now, I just need to sort out my joy from my envy.

"And you're coming with me."

"... Eh? I'm going to PAX?"

"In three days."

"In THREE DAYS?!"

"... Okay, now that you've blown my eardrum." Belle begins. "The guys are funding my trip this year, and Missy's dad is flying her over to LA for it-"

"LA." I repeat. "Los Angeles."

"That's where it is this year." Belle states. "Anyway, Missy and her dad are going with Machinima, and I still had the money for my trip saved up. So... Don't expect anything for your birthday this year."

"This... Is... Sooooo much better..." I whisper. "I'm gonna be at Pax... With my homegirl from Machinima... And to top it all off, Markiplier's gonna be there..."

"Oh, gawd, not this again." Belle sighs. "Seriously, what the hell is it that you smoke? It seems to be extremely effective."

"I can't help it, he's my frigging ultimate YouTuber!" I laugh. "Ain't no drug, other than his amazing videos! He's just that rare, adorable combination of sincere, funny, humble and idiotic."

"Yeah, yeah." I can tell by the tone that Belle's grinning. "So, three days. You might wanna start packing."

"Making a list now." I say, pulling out my ever-present notebook and pen. "Have you run it by my parents?"

"Actually, yes, I spoke to them first for a change." Belle giggles. "I didn't want to get your hopes up on something as huge as this just for them to have to make you stay home."

"Thanks, love." I smile. "Aack... I know I need to pack light with my recording gear, but cripes! I have to get a new MV up by the end of the week!"

"Well, don't look at me!" Belle exclaims.

"... Yes. Brilliance. The fans will love it." I think out loud.

"Wha-"

"Sorry, Belle, you're just gonna have to wait." I cut in. "It'll be easier to explain face-to-face. You know what I'm like."

"Right, right." Belle sighs. "... So you're going to bring all your Steampunk gear?"

"Just a few outfits." I snicker. "And my new goggles. The goggles are essential. I love them very much."

Belle laughs softly. I grin.

"Dad's calling for me," she says. "I'll talk to you tomorrow, okay? Don't scream the house down the second you turn off the phone."

"I got it, sweetheart." I smile. "Love ya, baby sister."

"Love you too. Bye."

The call ends. I put down my phone, take a deep breath...

And spin wildly in my chair, giggling like a madwoman.

"Marlene the Geek is going to PAX, muthatruckas!" I squeal.
