Chapter 8

I jog through the forest that sits behind the house, dodging and weaving through the trees not breaking a sweat. I arrive back home at 7.30 after finally feeling i had done enough running not even close to my normal amount but my burns are making things harder. I walk through the door and almost instantly the smell of bacon hits my nose making my stomach grumble, i head through into the kitchen to see a shirtless logan standing in front of the stove i start laughing at the sight, he had pancake mix on the bench with flour covering his face and chest.

"What are you laughing at" he says pointing a spatula at me causing me to laugh more

"You. look. Like. the . flour. Exploded" i say in between laughs

Colton and Jason show up beside me both shirtless AS WELL and also both laughing their asses off at him he gives us a roll of his eyes before continuing to burn the bacon,

"You want some help" i ask trying to keep a straight face and not laugh at all the burnt food

"Cookings not my thing ok and you weren't here to cook it" he snaps

"Woah calm down i wasn't making fun" i reply a little taken back

"Sorry and yes please help" he says looking down

I get to work straight away binning all the charcoaled food and cooking everything again giving logan tips here and there on how to make sure it doesn't burn and how to tell that it was cooked once it's all cooked we plate it all up and load it onto the table before calling all the boys down, i grab the plate i had already organised for myself and sat down in between jayce and alex before we all started digging in

"So Ashley what happened yesterday and who was that guy" Mason asks i see logan glare at him but he doesn't seem to notice

"That was my uncle and well it's hard to explain" i say not looking him in the eye

"What do you mean it's hard to explain it can't be that hard i mean it happened in our house" he stands up and shouts at me causing me to bounce backwards tipping my chair over and me landing on the floor smacking my burns

"Shit Ashley are you ok" Logan says coming over to me i take a few deep breaths to keep my tears at bay before grabbing his hand to pull myself up

Once i'm up i see mason looking mad and the rest looking worried at this point i'm pissed cause i ended up in pain over this stupid shit 

"Yes this happened in your house and i get your worried but until you've put up with what i have then don't ever tell me what's hard and not hard to explain" i speak slowly but with pure venom in my words, out the corner of my eye i see Alex push Max and Jayce out of the room

I feel bad for making them leave but i swear to god i'm not gonna let males walk all over me at all anymore

"How am i supposed to know what i can and can't ask when you wont tell us anything" he snaps at me and i swear i saw steam come out his ears

"Ughhh, look the right of what i tell you and don't tell you is mine i barely know you..... what makes you think i would open up and spill my life story to you" i am seriously ticked off right now

"Your living in our house now i think we all deserve to know why.... quit acting like your past is so hard to talk about" he yells at me

"You have no idea what my past is like you have no right to tell me if my life isn't hard yes i won't tell you but did you ever stop to think why" i yell back before walking outside and straight back out into the forest
