Chapter 7 : Awkward

2 weeks had passed, after Yoshiko slept on Hanamaru's home, it became a bit awkward.

Riko noticed this, as they were gearing towards to the first round of the qualifiers. She then calls for a meeting at the clubroom.

"Since the First Round of the Qualifiers for Love Live! will start next week, I like to addressed the elephant in the room." Riko stated, she was dead serious, opposed to her hyperactive personality.

Everyone was shaking.

"That is, WHY YOSHIKO-CHAN AND HANAMARU-CHAN ARE SO AWKWARD THAT INFECTS EVERYONE?!?!?!?!" Riko shouted. She was concerned at the scenario they were in.

"EH?!?!?!?!" both Yoshiko and Hanamaru said in unison.

"Yeah, to think of it, they were quiet for 2 weeks. Yoshi-chan and Maru-chan are silent to each other, what happened?" Shuka asked.

Both Yoshiko and Hanamaru are speechless.

"Yoshiko-chan? Hanamaru-chan?" Ai asked. She too is confused.

"Yoshiko-chan, Hanamaru-chan, we only have a week to prepare for the qualifiers, if you two didn't resolve this in time, we're in trouble." Riko stated. She is worried that this awkwardness will affect both of their performances.

"Uhm...cause...AAAAHHHHH!!!!!!" Yoshiko couldn't find the words and ran away.

The rest then looked at Hanamaru.

"Uhm, can you give us time to muster up our confidence to confess?" Hanamaru said. She then too left the room.

Everyone was confused.

"Did you notice that Maru-chan didn't say 'Zura' this time? And she's not calm? And Yoshiko is not that, you know, having a arrogant aura? And she's so shy?" Shuka said, as she observed both Hanamaru and Yoshiko all this time.

"You're right." Ai said, she agreed to Shuka's analysis.

"You two, stay at the clubroom, I'll call someone who could help us in these types of situation." Riko said.

"Okay. Comeback quick." Ai and Shuka said in unison.

After hearing that, Riko ran towards to the rooftop.

Riko then dialed a number, and waited for it to answer. After a minute, it finally answered.

"Hello RiRi, we're in a middle of practice right now, what do you want? If you want to chat to your little YuYi, you can't!!! She's into her 'I'll win Love Live!' mode. So bw quick or she'll hit me!!!" a voice said. It sounded childish.

"Wooby, I promise this will be quick!!!" Riko said.

"Fine, what is it?" Ruby said with a slight irritation, as she knows she'll be hit by You if she took a longer break.

"What do you call when two girls are having a bit of an awkward phase after they just slept together?" Riko asked.

"They had sex." Ruby replied, as it almost made Riko puke.

"WOOBY!!! I'M SERIOUS HERE!!!!" Riko shouted, embarrassed at Ruby's reply.

"I'm also serious here, or maybe they kissed for the first time after some cheezy moments happened to them earlier. Why?" Ruby gave a more toned answer.

"Cause two of my members are very quiet in the past two weeks. Thank for the time though. See you again Wooby!!!" Riko gave her goodbye and ended the call.

"Geez, even though she and YuYu were like that a year ago." Ruby then gave a sigh, but...

"Ruby-chan?" a voice said.

"Y-Y-Yes?" Ruby said nervously. She knew who said that.

"What did you say again?" it asked.

"You're beautiful, YuYu." Ruby said, trying to sound normal, but she was shaking like crazy.

"Call me You-san for a bit, okay?" it was You, she overheard the call between Ruby and Riko.

"But, but Riko just called me and asked me what did her friends just did!!! It's just a playful tease, okay!!!" Ruby plead to You.

"Okay, I'll let it slide. But you'll never repeat that again, okay?" You said with a sinister face.

Meanwhile, Anju, Asami, Sarah and Leah are all staring at the two.

"You-chan can be scary sometimes." Sarah stated.

"Yeah, we don't want her to be that pissed." Anju marked.

"True." Asami agreed.

"My baby..." Leah could only say.

"Okay guys, back to work." You said after dealing with Ruby.

"YES MA'AM!!!" the rest said in unison. They don't want to see the 'Angry You' again.

Riko then came back after an hour. She also needed to find Yoshiko and Hanamaru.

"Now you two, speak up!!!" Riko said.

"How di-" before Shuka could continue, Riko immediately replied.

"THEY WERE AT THE CLASSROOM, ONLY THE TWO OF THEM!!!" Riko shouted.

"Okay." Shuka said and didn't ask a question again.

"Please tell us why are you two having this 'Awkward Phase' for the past two weeks? I caused us to repeat some spots, you know. And don't worry, we won't judge you or something." Riko stated, giving both Hanamaru and Yoshiko assurance that everything's gonna be alright if they just tell what happened.

"Uhm..." both Hanamaru and Yoshiko said.

"Don't tell me you just kissed for the first time after some cheezy hints for it?" Shuka asked. This gave Riko shivers for some reason.

After they didn't gave a reply, Riko repeated her question until both can finally answer it.

With all the persistence, Hanamaru and Yoshiko finally gave a reply and the answer.
