1:I got to meet my mom

The crickets chirped at a distance, the wind whistled across the trees, the atmosphere felt warm
"Shit."
I was not in my bed snuggling with Mr cuddles anymore
"Oh so we doing this now," I groaned looking up. The sun was about to set giving a spectacular shade of pink

I got up, took a good view of my surroundings. The whole atmosphere screamed of spring
"At least it wasn't the Antarctic peninsula this time." I sighed
I noticed a footpath adjusting to a well manicured garden so I followed it, of which I was to regret later since it led to a maze. "Now who in the world-"

"-Could make this beautiful fucked up place? I dont know." Came a voice behind me.
"Minerva, nice to see you too all dazzling and shit." I sneered.
"Nice to see you too, bedraggled of course." She replied.
"You know, for a conscience you aren't exactly a progressive kind." I said turning to find my own reflection, with a dress and heels, clearly she got a bad deal on the fairy godmother kit.
"See what you like?"
"On the contrary fairy godmother, a simple good night sleep would work just well, thank you very much" I replied sarcastically
"But what's the fun in that?" She replied sweetly, "come on, sleepy head we haven't got all night!" She giggled and started skipping. I sighed shaking my head

e weaved through the ornate garden until she held me back. I mouthed what the hell but she whispered me to listen. I heard giggling and muffled voices. As we approach the corner the silhouette of two people.
"Can I ask, why are you on your tippie toes?"
"Because I'd like my head intact, remember Mexico?"
"That was one time and I wanted something a little more than coffee but less than cocaine, besides you could be caught a little while back. I'm pretty sure the guy is a vampire" minerva retorted
"Oh, fine then" I said suddenly not caring
We walked right past them without the latter even knowing we're there
"What if someone finds us" the girl asked, ruffling the boy's mane of hair
"Im tired of hiding, let them come. We'll run," the boy replied
"Where to my love, they will find us, our love is forbidden!" The girl started sobbing
"Shh, dont worry, everything is going to be ok" he replied. Suddenly, a wave of calmness washed over me. 'This guy's using charmspeak to sooth her, how cute'
" I have a house in the northern province, we can go there. Its not much but the folks are helpful"
"I-i dont know, I'll think of it"
I quickly spun around, 'that voice, could it be...no it can't be,'
" mom?"
"Mmh? Nop, thats her sister, I presume. See, she's got auburn hair and you're mom is a redhead"
Wait what!?" I shrieked
"Thats not important right now, what is is that we need to move like right now"
I sighed and continued walking. The maze cleared into a courtyard that was as wide as a football field but I was dumbfounded by the sheer size and grace of the house. Huge was an understatement. It had purple drapings with Phoenix symbols on them. The grounds were crawling with guards but we passed through unnoticed, thank you Minerva. Something pulled me to the second floor, I held Minerva's hand and we floated
The room could be described as a unicorn threw up, everything was either fuchsia or fluffy. Two women were on either side of a cradle on the process of baby worship
On the left was a blonde , an epitome of beauty, green gown with white petals and a simple gem necklace that captured her amethyst eyes .On the right, she was crowned with diamonds. Clearly she radiated royalty. I couldn't help to see a resemblance. Wait, no, its the sleep that is talking. I cant be related to such perfection. Im a fucking klutz.

"Isn't she beautiful rose" one said
"Yes she is diana." The other replied
As if on cue the baby cooed. I walked to the cradle and saw a bouncing bundle of joy
"She's cute" Minerva said tickling her
Suddenly the air changed and I could see the amulet on green gown's neck glow
"Took you long enough. They're here rose." She said following where I was. With a single snap of her fingers our cover was blown, well I knew that because I got hit by a guard as I was making my executive getaway.
"Relax child, we're not going to harm you." Green gown stood in front of me and gave me a hand to stand. Suddenly I felt out of place, all of them wore classy and I'm in my nightie

"The name's Diana. My friend here is-"
Diana's speech was cut short when her friend ran up to me and gave me a bear hug and started sobbing. Then my pathetic sympathetic side took charge
"Hey it's going to be ok." I soothed mouthing Diana help me . She cleared her throat and my captor regained herself
"You do not know how I have longed for this!"she said, "I'm rose. My you have grown!" She continued tears of joy trickling down her cheeks

"Ok, if this is a prank, or whatever this is, its creeping me out now." I said as rose was mushing my cheeks and smoothing my bed hair
"This is no joke Elena, I caught Minerva on you trip to Mexico, told her to bring you here today."
I looked up on rose, who now is fully composed. Her eyes spoke the truth
"This might come as a shocker for you but, I'm your mother, Elena." My legs gave way but rose caught me
"No, no, nop." I starrted muttering
"My mom gave her life when giving birth to me."
From a distance a horn was sound, followed by another and another
"We haven't got much time." Diana said. She looked tense
"I know its a lot to take in roght now but all will be clear soon. I had my friend get you here to see you for the last time." She said almost sobbing now
"Last time, but why?" I asked puzzled
"It doesn't matter, at least ive seen you" she smiled. All this time my head was on her lap, this strong connection intensified. A strong current passed through me and she gasped. For the fist time I felt safe right there. Then it hit me, shit she is my mom
Diana nudged foward and removed her amulet and placed it on my palm and said
"Promise, this will explain everything. Please dont blame Lucy, she wanted to tell you
