When I dropped Jake off, my mind was racing around what I should do. Before he got out of the car, he told me again that I should tell the FBI about this. "It's the right thing," he said. Am I really taking advice from a 16 year old?
I drove to the diner, which also involved a bar, and turned my car off. When I entered the building, my colleague was just leaving.
"Hey (Y/N), how ya' doin'?" Marley smiled at me and stopped for a little chat. She was a sweet little person, with reddish hair and sprinkles in her face. Her bright brown eyes where always warm and soft. She just loved life, you could tell. When I started working here, she told me that she was trying to get enough money to go to college. She wanted to be an actress on Broadway, dreaming of the big stages of the world. She talked about this with so much excitement in her voice, that I kinda started to wish I'd have a dream like her. I really liked her.
"Hey Marls, what's up? How was work?" I smiled at her, her mood was always contagious, no matter how bad it was before, she brightened up every day.
We chatted for about 5 minutes before saying goodbye. Unfortunately, we didn't get to talk that much. It's always just those 5 minutes between our shifts. When I changed and got back behind the bar, I smiled at the old weird man that was sitting here every night. He drank his wiskey as always, wore his cap like every night and looked at the TV in the corner where the football game was on. Everybody just called him Al, I don't know what his real name was.

An hour or two went by when the two Agents were entering the bar. Of course not in their suits. Agent Styles was wearing a worn off leather jacket, a blue jeans and some dirty boots. He looked good, you really couldn't deny that. Agent Banner, this beautiful tall man (did I really just think that?) was wearing a blue flannel and some dark blue jeans, adding Chucks to his look. They both didn't see me first, it was Agent Banner who took notice of me. He nodded in my direction followed by agent Styles looking at me too. I smiled at them a little before they sat down, taking a look at the card.
After some minutes, I made my way to them. The bar wasn't really crowded, just the usual few guys, drinking their beer.
"Hey agents. What can I do for you?" I smiled at them, getting out my little block to note down their order.
They both looked up at me smiling. They didn't seem too surprised to see me here though.
"Hey (Y/N), nice to see you again." Agent Styles winked at me, telling me that he wanted a beer afterwards.
"What about you?" I turned to Agent Banner looking his eyes. They've had a really interesting colour, eventhough in the bad lightning they looked beautiful. Wait girl .. this is an FBI agent.
"I'll have a beer too," he said smiling back at me.
"Sure," I grinned and walked back to the bar to get their beers.
When I got back, they were occupied in a heated discussion. They got quiet when I got near them.
"Here you are, guys. Just call when you need more," I said, turning my back to them.
"(Y/N), wait please," Agent Banner said, when I was just about to walk away.
"What's wrong?" I turned back around, smiling.
"It's about that case again. Jake called to say that you might know a little more than you said and we really want to know what it is." That fucker.
"I um ... I don't-" I got cut off by Agent Styles.
"Listen girl. We really want to solve this case and help this boy, and maybe you but when you don't open up a little, we can't." He seemed really annoyed, as if he hadn't slept in the past 24 hours.
Agent Banner looked at him, a little surprised by his outbreak but then, turned to me, waiting for my answer. I sighed a little.
"Well, that's not possible now. What about you guys come to my motel room tomorrow, since you already know where I'm living?" They both nodded.
"What about 1 pm? We could grab some burgers and talk about everything?" I asked them. Don't even know why I suggested this but the words left my mouth before I even thought about it. They both seemed just as surprised as me.
"I like that woman," Agent Styles said and we agreed to meet at my motel at 1 pm.
They stayed for some hours more and we actually chatted a little more. They both were really nice lads, but I kinda started to doubt that they really were FBI Agents. That could get interesting.
