27) emergancy calls

MADELINE GILBERT, ISAAC LAHEY, ALLISON ARGENT AND CHRIS ARGENT all silently sneaked down the hallways in caution. Maddie had only briefly explained the situation at hand before they all agreed to save the explanations until they had found everyone.

Hearing footsteps, Maddie and Chris stopped, Allison and Isaac coming to a stop behind them as Maddie made a fireball in her hands as she waited for any sign of the Alpha's, Chris doing the same but with a gun. When Scott came around the corner, Argent pointed his gun and Maddie was about to throw the ball at him when Isaac grabbed her arm.

"Jesus motherfucking Christ, Scott!" Maddie scolded as she disposed of the flaming ball in her hand. "That would've hurt." Maddie sighed and Scott just looked at her in shock.

Maddie then doubled over and groaned before throwing up. This had concerned the rest of the group, because all that was coming out of her mouth was blood.

And then, the unthinkable happened for the Petrova Hybrid. Maddie's contacts fell out leaving her almost blind.

"This is not fucking happening." Maddie groaned before lifting her head. "Isaac, I need you to grab my arm and guide me until we get to safety. I'll explain why later, but for now... emergency calls." Maddie told them and Isaac just shrugged, looping his arm through hers.

"So then they're essentially trapped?" Chris asked as the group walked into a room and Maddie sighed.

"Right." Scott nodded before the group looked to Maddie as she mumbled a charm. "Glassial moperium." Maddie spelled before, somewhat, turning to Scott.

"Scott, in your pocket, you'll find a pair of glasses." Maddie breathes out and Scott scrunched his eyebrows together in confusion as he reached into his pocket and pulled out a pair of black framed glasses.

Still confused, Scott passed the glasses to Maddie who put them on her head before blinking as her eyes adjusted.

"Thank fucking Jesus." Maddie sighed in relief before turning to the group. "Anyway, there is no way we're going to get to them without turning the power on." Maddie stated.

"But wait, wait, wait," Melissa interrupted, holding her hands up and shaking her head. "If the powers back on, they're going to hear the elevator moving, right?" Melissa asked and both Maddie and Scott caught on.

"Then they'll be on Derek and Jennifer as soon as it stops." Scott stated in realisation and Maddie shook her head. "Then how the fuck do we get to them without starting some shit. We can't get into a fight with them." Maddie stated and Argent raised his eyebrow.
