Chapter 19: Suprise!

Chapter 19
This is a short & anticlimactic update. Sorry guys. I honestly don't have any motivation for this book but I'm trying.

August

We just landed in Texas and gotten to our Airbnb. We had 2 days here before the show so we got a big house for everyone to stay in.

I had the whole guest house which is in the back of the house. My team wanted me to really have a quite place to myself to rest and prepare for the last couple of shows we had left.

Everyone was tired from the the two back to back shows we had yesterday and the the day before. We were all in our rooms resting.

Once I put my bags down. I decided to take a long shower before settling down for the night.

Zolee

Travis : call me when you guys get here.

I quickly replied to Travis text message. Avia and I were in our Uber headed to the AirBnB August was staying at to surprise him.

Avia had no idea where we were going and August had no idea we were coming.

After the whole drama with August, I decided to still go through with the plan.
I knew Avia really wanted to see him and I had already bought all the tickets and booked the hotel.

I flew in this morning with Avia and we got a hotel not far from here. We are staying in Houston for 2 days then we are headed to Mexico to meet up with Armoni and her family for a little vacation.

I talked to Travis a while back and set everything up. He made sure they got a house instead of a hotel for privacy reason.

A week after everything went down at the club, every pretty much moved on from the topic. Everything in social media happens so fast that people are already on to the next thing.

Obviously some people are still digging but for the most part it's forgotten. I was finally able to turn my comments on again on Instagram without getting any crazy question about August.

The Uber stopped on from of a big house and we thanked him and got out as I dialed Travis's number.

Before I could hit talk, he walked out of the house.

"Uncle travissss" Avia yelled running up to him.

"Wassup munchkin, how was your flight."
He said as he scooped her up.

"Good, mommy said we were coming to see her friend."

"Well surprise, I'm the friend."
He said putting her down and giving me a hug.

"Come in" he said as we followed him inside the house.

We walked into the huge mansion. It was quite for the most part but we could hear the sound of TVs coming from down the hall.

"Everyone sleeping right now, we been real busy."
Travis said "but let me make a phone call real quick"

Avia took my hand and pulled me towards the huge fish tank that covered the entire wall. We stood there and looked inside as Travis went into what looked like the kitchen to call August.

August

I had just finished throwing on some shorts and a T-shirt when Travis called me.

"Hello?"

"Aye come up to the main house real quick, it's some fans out here tryna meet you."

"What?" I asked confused "nigga the whole point of this house was to be away from allat, how they find me?"

"Look I don't know but unless you wanna disappoint your fans, I suggest you get you ass out here"

I sighed and hung up the phone.
I threw on on socks and my Gucci flip flops and headed towards the main house.

I don't know who was here or how they found me but I planned on saying hello, taking a quick picture or two then going back into my room.

I wanted to try and call Avia because I knew she would be headed to dance class soon.

I walked in through the back door and made my way around the kitchen towards the front room.

I could hear Travis talking to someone but Couldn't make out who it was.

All of a sudden I hear a little girl laugh. It made me think of Avia.

Then she started talking.

"This one looks like a Nemo and that's his dad."

"Avia ?" I said to myself as I picked up my pace.

I turned the corner just as she was turning away from the fish tank.

"Daddy?" She said like she was confused .
"Daddy!!" She said again running toward me.

"Avia, what are you doing here." I for down and opened up my arms as she ran in them.
I picked her up and kissed her check.
"How'd you get here baby girl " i said looking at her

She shrugged "I don't know."

I turned to look at Travis and noticed Zolee standing next to him.

"Hey" I said and have her a little hug. We haven't seen each other since the whole club incident.

I know Avia already forgot and forgave me for everything but I could tell Zolees still felt some type of way.

"Hi" she said giving me a little smile.

Her skin was darker and glowing and I could tell she had been enjoying the summer so far. She had her hair in long braids and she was wearing a sun dress.

I started thinking about how she looked from behind when Travis interrupted me.

"My work here is all done so I'll see y'all later. I need a shower. By munchkin" he gave Avia and little pushing making her laugh and walked away.

Zolee looked at me then quickly looked away. I didn't know what to say when Avia spoke up.

"Uncle Travis said we can go swimming"

"Yeah, you got ya swimsuit?" I asked her
She nodded and lifted up her shirt showing her pink one piece.

Alright let's go.

We walked to the back of the house.
As soon as we got to the backyard. Avia wasted no time getting in the pool.

"You gonna get on with her?" Zolees asked.

"Yeah, lemme just go change."
I walked into the guest house and quickly found some shorts to swim in.

I got back outside to see Zolee sitting on the side of the pool with her legs in while Avia was in the pool.

"Daddy look I can swim now." She said taking her hand off the edge and awning to the other side.

"Good job baby girl. Now you can teach me " I said getting in with her.
