Chapter Sixteen: Sneaking Out

I took my phone out and texted Juliette right away. I got in Blade's car and sat in the front while I texted her.

Naomi🥰: Felix Hudson and Jose Rogers are some of Anthony's best men. Found out that Felix has a home in Staten Island near Richmond Town. Heading there now
Juliette😘: Good lead so far. I'm gonna try to get out of this hell hole
Naomi🥰: Okay. But please don't get into any trouble. And it's a bit of a far drive
Juliette😘: I'll think of something. See ya soon!

"How long is the drive?" I asked Blade, who was already on the highway. Blade looked at his GPS. "An hour and a half."

Oh lord have mercy.

*Juliette's POV*

I was hiding in the bathroom while texting Naomi. I didn't want Rose to open her mouth. I stepped out of the bathroom and went into the living room. "I'm gonna go take a nap." I said. "At 8:00 at night?" Rose questioned. I slightly widened my eyes. I cleared my throat. "Yes. I like taking naps at a certain time." I went upstairs while Rose shrugged her shoulders and continued to watch the movie, while eating some popcorn. I went up to my room, closed the door and locked it, and snuck out through the window, climbed down the tree and went to my car.

I don't care, I'm heading to Staten Island.

*Naomi's POV*

Juliette😘: Heading to Staten Island now

I smirked. I knew my best friend could do it.

Naomi🥰: Nice. See you there

"Juliette's gonna meet with us." I said. Blade smiled. "Isn't she gonna get in trouble, though?" Ian questioned. I shook my head. "Juliette's got her ways."

Blade was now driving over the Verrazano Bridge. "We'll get there soon." he said.

*Juliette's POV*

I was driving on the highway, keeping my eyes on the road, until my phone vibrated, revealing my mother's name on the top. I grabbed my phone and declined the call. I didn't have time to hear her right now, especially cause I just snuck out of the house.

God I'm gonna be in so much trouble, but I'll figure something out. I then saw ahead a whole bunch of traffic, and there were police cars and ambulances there. Oh my fucking god. Why!

I didn't have the time for this! I guess I'm gonna be here for awhile.

*Naomi's POV*

40 minutes later and we finally made it to Felix's home, and Roman was right, it is near Richmond Town. "How the hell are we going to do this?" Daniel sighed. "We need to get Valentine." I got out of the car quickly and walked up to the front door, while the others followed me. I knocked on the door and this lady with beautiful blonde hair answered. "Hi, I don't know who you are but there's a guy named Anthony and a boy named Austin that I want to speak to." I automatically said. "Naomi, what are you doing?" Ian asked me in a low voice. "I'm sorry. I think you have the wrong place. There's no man named Anthony and no boy named Austin here." the lady said. "If this is some stunt, I'm gonna fucking-" I threatened.

"Wait, are you saying that we're at the wrong place?" Violet questioned. "I tried telling you that." the lady rolled her eyes. Then, a sudden thought hit me.

-FLASHBACK-

"They ditched the house that was in Queens. Where would they be now?" Roman shifted in his seat. "I don't know. But what I do know is that there's this girl named Valentine."

"Where does Felix live?" Blade asked. "Near Richmond Town, I think."

-FLASHBACK ENDED-

"That motherfucker set us up! How could we miss that?!" I yelled. "We're sorry for disturbing you. We'll be on our way." I said to the lady while I speed walked to Blade's car. "What was that about?" Aliza questioned. "Fucking Roman set us up! Remember he said that he doesn't know where Felix's home is?" Aliza nodded. "And then afterwards he said, I think he lives in Richmond Town?" Paige's eyes got wide. "Are you kidding me?! We're vampires for crying out loud! How did we not catch that?!"

I saw anger in Blade's eyes. I quickly texted Juliette to not come to Staten Island. We all got into the car and drove back to the pack.

*Juliette's POV*

Got a notification on my phone from Naomi. Are you kidding me right now? I took all of my time to come to Staten Island and now I have to fucking turn back.

Naomi😍: I'm so sorry. I hope you're not upset, Roman tricked us

Fucking hell. I'm getting my ass whopped when I get home.

*Naomi's POV*

-An Hour Later-

We finally made it back to the pack. We were so lucky that there wasn't as much traffic. To be honest I feel really bad for Juliette. We sent her to Staten Island for no reason and now she has to come back straight away. Fucking Roman.

Blade unlocked the door and ran inside, screeching and calling the other vampires. "Where's Roman?!" Blade shouted. Two of the vampires dragged him out and lifted him harshly in his chair. Blade then hit him hard with a right hand and uppercut until his head almost went all the way back. "You son of a bitch!" Roman's face was all bloody and bruised. I then walked up to him and slapped his face, my nails pinching his cheeks really hard. "You fucking lied, so now you're gonna face major consequences."

I quickly grabbed the back of his shirt and dragged him into a cell. I threw him in there while Sasha followed behind. All five of her nails were oozing with black stuff and she harshly jabbed them into his neck. Roman started screaming in pain, Hawaii probably could've heard it.

*Juliette's POV*

-90 Minutes Later-

Took awhile but I finally made it back home. And I'm not having it. I then got a text message from Jayda.

Jayda🙄💗: Where the hell are you? Mom is freaking out and Rose is getting upset.

Juliette🤪: I'm home 

Jayda🙄💗: Yeah, okay. Where were you actually?

I didn't have time for this. I couldn't let her know that I went to Staten Island, she'd probably automatically tell mom.

Juliette🤪: That's none of your concern. I'm home now

I quickly got out of the car, went through the fence and climbed up the tree. I went through my bedroom window and was met by my mother staring at me with her arms crossed. I'm dead...

"Where the hell were you, Juliette?"

*Naomi's POV*

"Fine! I'll tell you the damn truth!" Roman yelled. Funny, we've been torturing him for hours and we still haven't killed him. But actually, we can't kill him, we need him for information. "You should've told us the fucking truth from the beginning!" Paige screamed. "He has a home in New Jersey!"

"How do we know you're telling the truth?" Violet questioned. "Oh yes. He's telling the truth." Remi clarified while she was typing on the laptop. What appeared on the big screen was a map. "They're in the basement of the house."

"We out." Blade said.
