The First Boring Missions, and the weird Human race!

God ! THREE HOURS AND FIFTY FIVE MINUTES. That took forever to apply to the guild !

"So now what do we do " Alexei questioned picking at the copper plate attached to his belt .

"Well we pick a copper ranked quest and do it I suppose , we have to build our way up!"

I cracked my knuckles , smiling looking up at the mission board .

"Okay now lets see here" I said looking at the requests .

"The hell is that chicken scratch my lord!" Alexei loudly yelled pointing to the board , gaining us stares .

"Eh ?" I slammed my head against the board "it's the language they use here , oh and all these quests seem stupid . Ain't nothing to it , no guarding , or slaying ones for coppers"

"Why the hell not ?" Alexei questioned rudely

My irk mark came back "because we are starters so I guess-" I yanked off five of the missions . "We will first stop by and help tend to a ladies garden , find a missing dog , do a head count of the was district, find a missing cat , then escort Jun Baether across town .."

"So let me get this straight. We are working like  slaves, collecting a mutt and a feline , counting humans , then bringing a school boy home because his mom gave birth today? "

"Not sure how you know the last part but basically, I'll split them up you take the dog , counting , and I'll do the rest ."

He groaned , slapping his forehead extending out his right hand. I set the two sheets in his palm .

"Both have images on them , so you can follow the map to do the count but you'll have to look out for the cat" I said pointing to the image

"I'll see you after , GM me if you run into any problems, if not we meet back at the guild "

I waved , walking away

Now let's see , I guess I can stop by the garden first , look for the cat along the way , and pick up the kid in an hour or so .

I stretched my arms , shaking off my hands .

Well that was easy .. I finished in fifteen minutes .

All I had to do was pull weeds , I mean really who can't do that ? I grinned down at the garden , it was fairly small but perfect for a family of four like mrs Kanda'/-the requester .

I turned my head pretending not to notice the teenage girl staring at me from within the broom closet , leaning over a barrel. Inspecting me , she had been there awhile so I didn't mention anything , though I found it pretty weird. As I was about to turn and leave
To inform mrs Kanda Of a job well done a voice stopped me

"W-wait" it stuttered out , running out of the closet before tumbling on her dress was a girl. If I remembered correctly it was mrs Kandas oldest child Lenda. She closed her eyes bracing for impact , or rather an impact that never came .

Time free
I silently thought , walking over to her falling figure releasing it, while standing under her . Holding her steady , quickly removing my hands .

"Yo" I greeted the older girl , curiously staring at her rosy cheeks .

She huffed "u-uh Thanks , I just wanted to say the garden looked nice , I was just walking by and -yeah" she contained her rambling , trying to come up with an excuse for stalking my weed work.
