For the following two weeks, Izumi would walk to the park while her mother was on patrol, and play with Katsuki.

Everyday, They would play and talk, and Izumi loved every single second of it. She had lost all of her friends since she had quit school. Parents and some kids had attempted to reach out to her and Tomoko, but they would never get a response back.

Katsuki and Izumi would talk about heroes and villains, and would often play games focused around them, but one thing they never talked about were quirks.

Katsuki knew Izumi disliked them—she was the only kid his age who went out of their way to not use their quirk. At first he found it odd. Everyone in his school would show-off their Quirks whenever they had the chance, but this girl, instead of using her flames to locate something she dropped, would ask Katsuki to find it for her. He became accustomed to the flutter in his chest whenever she relied on him for something. It felt nice.

Katsuki's mother had told him that time would heal all wounds. But It had been five years since it Izumi lost her sight and got her quirk... And yet she still refused to use it unless absolutely necessary. She seemed to not trust it, to fear it.

Over the course of their budding friendship, they had come up with nicknames for each other.

At the request of Izumi, Katsuki had described his hair and eye color, he had also let her touch his face. Izumi had come up with Kasu-chan and Blonde.

Katsuki had come up with Midori and Kumo-chan. When she had told Tomoko she was shocked, "You do realize how he came up with it right? Are you sure you want to be called cloudy?" Tomoko asked in a concerned motherly tone. Izumi just nodded and smiled "Kacchan wouldn't say it if was meant to be mean!"

From their friendship, Mitsuki and Tomoko had become good friends and would often go out for coffee to talk. It also helped when Izumi wanted to go play at Katsuki's house that their parents were well connected.

Tomoko came home after a day of patrolling, she opened the door and was greeted, as she always was, by her daughter.

"Welcome home, mom!" Izumi exclaimed, head snapping towards the sound with a--hopefully-- radiant smile.

"It feels good to be home, how was your day kitten?" Tomoko asked as she pulled off her shoes, and walked towards the kitchen for something to drink.

"It was good, I made up my mind about something important today" Izumi said, joy radiating from her voice.

Tomoko raised a single finger "One second, Let me sit down. If I know you I need to be sitting for this"

Tomoko walked out of the kitchen to the table and sat down. "Go ahead." Tomoko urged gently..

Izumi took a deep breath, "I want to go back to school with Kacchan" Izumi said excitedly

Tomoko looked at her for a second shocked, "Man, I really am happy I was sitting for that" She mumbled to herself.

Tomoko looked up at her daughter concerned, she had a large, shimmering smile that lit up the space that she was in. Tomoko's thoughts battled in her head.
