"What are you doing here?" Yejin froze as her nightmare appeared before her. Her eyes were void from any emotion.

"Yejin~ah, please give me one more chance. I want to make things right." The tall man tried to reach her but she flinched instantly.

"No. Don't you dare touch me. It's been a year, I'm doing fine now. I won't let you destroy it again." She shook her head as she walked backwards butbhe just inched forward.

"Please baby. Come back to me. It's just~" And before he could continue, he was cut off immediately. She was looking at another direction. He followed her gaze.

"Oh! There you are." She gasped, as she sauntered towards a guy, clad in a casual button down patchwork Camisa and a dark straight-leg jeans paired with brown Suede desert boots, earning dreamy stares from a lot of women around the busy street, with his amused look but his eyebrows started to meet t the center.

It was all or nothing.

Yejin threw away her little pride in her, tipped her toes, and planted her lips on the confused man's lips. She was unaware of the stares they stole from the crowd until she felt a pair of lips moved along with her so called abrupt kiss.

Her eyes widened in shock. She pulled out of the kiss with his hands were resting on her waist, supporting her shaking body. Then his lips quirked up as he looked at the other guy who was actually gaping at them. And from then on, it wasn't hard for him to understand what was happening.

He decided to ride along.

"Oh my God, I'm so sorry..." She whispered, her eyes closed briefly.

"Hey babe. I've been looking for you since we got separated earlier...where have you been?" He asked, his eyes landed on the man before him. And that man was definitely shooting daggers at him, he didn't care. It's not like he was supposed to like him anyway.

She blinked, totally clueless on what the man was doing, was he helping me?

"Come, let's go babe." The unknown man said to her as he dragged her, she gaped at him, nonetheless, she let him pulled her along with him.

For a moment, she was thankful because his ex didn't follow them. However, she was regretting that she dragged this innocent man beside her in the situation. The thrilling part was that she doesn't even have any idea who he was. He was just a random man she pulled in for a kiss because she was stupid.

She needed an escape and she saw him.

"Hey, instant girlfriend." The man suddenly talked. She sighed, she somehow have to fix this. Did he just lined me with some nissin' cup noodles? What the hell?

"Look, I'm so sorry for that kiss. It meant nothing. I was just~"

"Couldn't think of any solution to get rid of your ex?"

"H-how di~"

He smirked.

"That wasn't so hard to interpret. When you kissed me suddenly, then a man was giving me this death glare. Well, see you around. You'll never know, it might mean nothing to you now but next time we kiss, it might be because you already love me." He softened and gave her a small smile. It was genuine but calculated.

Before he left, he waved and walked backwards while looking at her.

"I'm Mark by the way. Mark Tuan." He grinned, and then his figure disappeared along the street with the crowd.

It dawned to her what just happened.

Did she just throw herself in her new labyrinth?

When she just got back on her right track again, she once again had her unexpectex reset.

What makes him so sure that we'll kiss again? Let alone meet again? Wow. The confidence.
