Kira's POV
The Discoverers

--

Discoverer of Burnside

Burnside. What a peculiar town we have, why? Oh come on.

Strange balls of light energy roaming in the sky?

Or even the alleged megalodon that people witnessed?

I am Kira Walters, a former investigator.

I am walking peacefully around Capon Yards, I have my hands at my pockets.

I accidentally looked at the abandoned building, near Fritata Square, an luxury hotel.

Legends say if you decided to enter that building, you'll be teleported to another dimension or what would I like to call....

Alternate universes.

I headed to my dull, boring office.

"Ms. Walters!" Shouted by a famillir voice. Is somebody gonna treat me a starbucks? Thank, god!

The door closed, two familliar persons entered. My, my, my! What a bulls. Let me introduce you to our investigation crew.

"Ms. Walters."

This is Lieutenant Horwood.. Of course, his partner... Spade Z..

"The latest complains have been telling us-- That your comportment in your investigations aren't excelling well." Said, Mr. Horwood.

"Is that so?"  I sarcastically replied.

"Your job is no joke, Miss Kira." Added by Investigator Z.

"The only way to get your investigations properly if you'll cooperate to others better.

"I ain't have no problem, I cooperate better with others---"

"Then cooperate better." Lieutenant Horwood said irritated.

"If nothing is done with your demeanor-- The boss will have no choice but to fire you." He added.

"Understood?"

I sighed.

"Understood."

----

I went to a cafeteria near the building. I ordered a latte. I also have my laptop in case if I have another case to investigate to.

I saw another investigator approaching me, some conversations, though?

"Hey, Kira, mind me sitting here?" Said by my officemate, Ms. Grantland.

"Sure, no problem." I tried to sound jolly because I'm really exhausted because of what happened earlier, imagine? I got scolded and gave me a lot of paperworks.

She sat infront of me, neat and formally, this situation is so awkard!

"So, I heard you got the lecture?" She said, smirking.

"Yup, how did you know?" I asked out of curiosity.

"Rumors?" She chuckled.

"I guess people here have big ears then? You can hear what other people say 50 meters away." I said.

"Woah, haha, probably? Well, we are in Burnside." She smiled.

"Okay,? What are you investigating, then?" I changed the weird topic.

"Balls of Light? Case 203." She answered.

That case is very popular, that was investigated for more than 12 years, but still, it's yet unsolved. Lo' behold!
