sometimes i really really hate myself.

"mr. kim, welcome back." ms. kang greets as i walk into my office. "thank you, ms. kang. how has it been since my absence?" i ask as i sit down at my desk. "it's been well, sir. the products are currently the best selling as of now. the ratings are off the charts!" she answers, smiling. "i see, that's good." i smile, "oh, and, sir... someone here wants to see you. we had to postpone it since well, you were absent. may i send them in?" she asks.

"go ahead."

ms. kang leaves the office and i look at the piled files. jesus... i had been busy, haven't i? i take a few of the files and look through them. my office door opens and i look up and see a young man stride in. "seokjin! it's been a while, hasn't it?" the man beams. i take a few seconds to process who the hell this is but then it clicks.

"taehyung! holy crap, it's been forever!" i bubbled as i smiled brightly at him. "when did you come back?" i asked. "oh well... there was this guy i met whilst staying in thailand and... he had to leave so i thought, why not leave too? i remember him so vividly... his name was jimin. park jimin." he smiles as he seems to be lost in his mind.

"really? park jimin?! wait... y-you met park JIMIN? i-i mean... I've met him too, like twice but... y-you met him before me! and didn't even send me a letter or anything like are you crazy?! you know that park jimin is like my living soul, his music, his vocals, his ABS! tae you trai-"

taehyung walks over to me and slams his hand onto my mouth, "shut it jin! i was just busy!" he interjects. i whine and he pulls back his hand. "sorry but- you know!"

"yeah yeah, he's your future husband or whatever..." taehyung mutters. "hey, I'm kind of busy right now, we could catch up later, how about at my café?" i suggest, he nods. "okay."

-

"wow! this looks nice! how the fuck can you work at a café but then be the CEO of a huge company?!" taehyung asks, astonished. "well... nobody knows who the CEO is and... i don't know, baking has just been a huge part of me." i answered, smiling. "ohh, i see... how's you and yoongi?" taehyung asks, suddenly. my breath hitches, "uh... yeah... about that, y-yoongi... died?"I cough and his smile drops. "oh... my bad, i shouldn't..."

"no, you didn't know, it's not your fault... but i swear if i find the person who did this... he WILL pay..." i curse as i smile sadly. "well... have you found another person? too... well, stop thinking about it?" he inquires. "yeah."

"he's amazing... but i don't think you'll approve." i joke. "just tell me!" he says as he sips on his smoothie. "issa jeon jungkook!" i beam. he stops drinking and he stares at me with wide eyes. "jeon jungkook? h-he's a rapper and he has a bunch of tattoos and piercings... you shouldn't hang out with someone like him, what about hoseok?"

"ew god no! hoseok is my BEST FRIEND, tete!" i exclaim, "yeah but you get it... jungkook is... he's bad news!" taehyung complains, eyebrows raised and everything. i roll my eyes, "jungkook is in fact, AMAZING. okay?! I'm fine!" i fumed, "he is BAD, I'm telling you! I've met him before!" taehyung shouts.

good thing that the café was closed today...

"again with the 'oh I've met him before', you know what? fuck you! you don't own me taehyung, just because we're cousins doesn't mean you can just come into my life and suddenly tell me i can't hang out with jungkook." i scowled. "right... sorry... I'm sorry seokjin but, you know- jungkook-"
