Chapter 9

3rd's POV

Optimus Prime throw Under Bite over the cliff, as he groan in pain. Optimus pick up Denny's car and set it down gently. (Y/n) and Russell run to Denny, who just got out of the car and run toward the Clay Twins, as he give them a hug out of relief. Bumblebee walk up toward Optimus.

"Optimus? You are alive!" said Bumblebee, excited yet shock.

"Are you alive?"

"That is unclear but I do know that I cannot maintain my presence on Earth for much longer," said Optimus.

Optimus look over Bunblebee's shoulder and see his team walking up toward him.

"You have found an excellent team," said Optimus, smiling.

Strongarm bow down to Optimus and Sideswipe shrug his shoulder as he give a cheeky smile.

"We uh we found each other, actually," said Bumblebee.

"Together, you will confront many challenges," said Optimus, "The forces facing Earth are immense and formidable, but I am certain that you will accomplish great things as you did today."

Bumblebees paused for a few second.

"But we needed your help, Optimus," said Bumblebee, skeptical, "We always need your help."

"You are ready to lead, Bumblebee," said Optimus, reassuring, "Do not doubt yourself."

Another pause for a few second.

"Will I see you again?" Bumblebee ask.

Optimus look away from Bmblebee.

"I am not certain," Optimus answer, "The universe has a plan for me but I do not know what it is."

Then he look back at Bumblebee.

"You will prevail, Bumblebee. You must."

They were Optimus' final words before he disappear, leaving Bumblebee to think about the future.

~Evening~

The team are in the scrapyard, getting everything settle. Under Bite is being put to sleep in one of the stasis cells. The dinobot look at Under Bite's symbol, the Decepticon logo that is place in the middle of Under Bite's chest. The dinobot sigh as he turn around and look at Bumblebee's team. Bumblebee walk up to Denny.

"Are you sure you're okay having us move our command center under your property?" Bumblebee ask, concernedly.

"Our place is a much better hideout for you than the woods," Denny answer.

"And we can help you keep you undercover," said (Y/n), clearing
her/his throat.

"If, you know, we're not doing anything else."

Bumblebee smile at (Y/n)'s offer as the dinobot walk up to him.

"You're not going make me go back to sleep, are you?" the dinobot ask, nervously.

Strongarm walk up toward Bunblebee and the dinobot, pulling out the rule book.

"Protocol 13, section 9 says that prisoners must be-" Bumblebee cut off Strongarm.

"Consider yourself on probation," said, Bumblebee.

"But, sir-" said Strongarm, shock.

The dinobot shout in happiness, as he pick up Strongarm and dance with her. But strongarm push the dinobot off. Bumble glance at Sideswipe.

"Glad you're with us, Sideswipe," Bumblebee content.

"For now," Sideswipe replied.

Strongarm walk toward Sideswipe.

"As your senior officer, I order you to take this equipment-"

"You don't get to give me orders," Sideswipe snap at Strongarm.

As Strongarm and Sideswipe argue, Denny wrap his arms around (Y/n)s's and Russell's shoulder. (Y/n) look at the dinobot and walk up to him.

"Excuse me," (Y/n) shout.

The dinobot turn his attention toward the small, (h/c) human girl/bot.

"Mind if I ask, what's your name?"
(Y/n) ask.

The dinobot is surprise by her/his question.

"Oh, the name is Grimlock," he answer, "What's your name, sweet pea?"

"(Y/n), nice to meet you," (Y/n) smile.

She hold out her/his hand to Grimlock, as he use his index finger to shake your hand. The meet-and-greet  thing between (Y/n) and Grimlock made Bunblebee's  stomach to turn and his face to scrunch up in displeasure. He walk toward (Y/n) and pick her/him, walking away from Grimlock who is confuse. (Y/n) shrug at him, then look at Bumblebee.

"What was that for? We were just talking," (Y/n) pout, crossing her arms.

"I know, but I think that's enough interaction with him," said Bumblebee, bluntly.

"But-"

"No 'but', (Y/n)," Bumblebee interrupt, "I'm here to protect Earth and you-I mean, humans."

(Y/n) was going to say something but figure it out what's going with him.

"Eres linda cuando estás celosa,"
(Y/n) smirk. (You're cute when you're jealous)

"I'm not jealous," said Bumblebee, smirking, "But I'll take that as a compliment."

It caught (Y/n) off guard, she/he didn't think that he would understand her/him. (Y/n) look away from Bumblebee's glance with her pink (facial) cheeks. Bumblebee chuckle at her/his embarrassment, causing
her/him to pout, cutely. Bumblebee look at his team members.

'I-We won't let you down, Optimus. If I say it enough, maybe I'll actually believe it,' Bumblebee thought.
