"Maybe you should wait out here for a minute. Just so I can tell them... Well, I honestly have no idea what I'll tell them," Clarke said.
After having emerged from the bed-albeit very reluctantly-Clarke had sought out fresh clothing from a wardrobe against the far wall. The selection was slim; stacks of white garments, each astonishingly tight-fitted. Clarke opted for a plain white tee and decided to wear her trousers from yesterday rather than even attempt to slip into one of these tights.
When she turned to offer Lexa one, the ex-commander had already dressed herself in her clothes from the previous day. It was unusual to see Lexa in something other than her traditional Heda attire, but it was just another change she would have to adjust to.
Now, standing in front of the door to what Sierra had told her was the 'Room of Congregation', where the others were told to meet today, Clarke hoped that they would take Lexa's presence in stride. She tried not to dwell too much on how Echo, a former Azgeda spy might react to her resurrection. Or Octavia, the so-called Red Queen.
"Okay," Lexa agreed. Some part of Clarke expected her to protest, but the more logical side of her knew this would be her reaction. She had always been respectful of Clarke's wishes, never pushing her into a situation she wasn't okay with. Unless you count having Roan kidnap her, which Clarke chose not to think about.
"I'll come get you in a minute."

Raven was the first to acknowledge Clarke's presence. "Clarke! Where have you been?"
"Long story, Raven. Is Madi here?" After a brief survey of the space, Clarke realised it was just a large room in a semi-spherical shape, with couches of all colours lining the curved wall. There wasn't a single window, yet the top half of the room was made entirely of glass-or some otherworldly substance, Clarke supposed. Whatever the case, the view was beautiful. Vibrant pinks and oranges lighting up the morning sky-but the two suns were a sight Clarke would need to get used to.
"I just checked on her, she's still fast asleep," replied Echo.
"What about Kane and Octavia?"
"We're here," Kane's raspy voice chimed in as they emerged from a hidden panel in the wall that Clarke hadn't noticed before. From what she could see through the small gap, it was full of platters of an assortment of food. Her stomach rumbled in response.
"Look there's something I need to tell you."
"Yeah, like where the hell you disappeared to last night." Raven's voice was laced with humour, but Clarke knew the girl was serious.
"That's what I wanted to talk about, actually. I was with one of the women we met yesterday, the one named Sierra. She told me about this technology her people have here and how it's capable of...creating people."
Octavia's brows drew together as she spoke for the first time since Clarke had arrived. "Clarke, you're not making any sense."
"It's easier if I just show you." Clarke sighed and moved to the open door, extending a hand to beckon the love of her life.
As soon as Lexa crossed the threshold, the air fell thick and heavy. Clarke couldn't read any of the the others' expressions, didn't have a clue what they were thinking. Maybe she should have explained the situation better beforehand.
