Beach Party

It all started

[2023] -Final Year at Berklee College of Music

It was a cold starry night at the beach when suddenly our eyes met.

My secret admirer, Radyagrinya, was admitted to be one of the hottest guy in my college. Since I am a kind of soft spoken girl, I decided not to tell my bestfriends that I had a big crush on Radya too before he admire me.

It all started before Radya was becoming a school-famous-guy when my first bumping with him at the school library. I am a bookworm that prefer to go to the library even at the lunch time when suddenly I saw a man seated at my usual spot.

"Gosh, my spot had taken by someone!", I thought to myself. I was about to turn my way to find another empty seats when suddenly I heard a calming deep voice, "Excuse me, are you finding a seat?" I turned my back to face him and my heart flutters. He had a smooth and slight wavy light rustic brown hair. His eyes is gorgeously silver ashy-blue that can easily make people fall on their knees. His lips, always looking juicy pink as he always snatch out his tongue. "Y-yes?", I stuttered. "I mean, you can sit here since there's no empty seats left", he said with a dimples while he smile. "Umm, sure. Thank you", I seated in front of him. "Btw, I'm Radyagrinya, Radya for short. But my loved ones called me Rodion". "Nina, Nina Fiennes Tiffin", I added. We shake hands.

I started doing my own task when suddenly I feel a thing rubbing my lower leg. It was Radya's feet. I looked up at Radya and he was focusing reading his book. I parted my leg to avoid Rayda's feet from touching mine.

Day by day, I get along with him and suddenly that night, Radya came out my door. I opened it up for him when he suddenly hugs me. "Hey Radya, what's wrong?", I asked. He didn't answer me and I realized that he was asleep in my embrace. He was drunk.

I layed him down at the couch. "What's going on with him?", I thought to myself anxiously. I go to the kitchen to make some hot chocolate drinks for Radya and suddenly I feel a hot lips touching my neck. "Omfl!", I startled. It was Radya with his eyes still shutting. He hugs me from the back. "Radya, are you awake?". Suddenly his grips started to fall off my body and at that time I realized that Radya has lost his consciousness. "OMG, Radya!! Wake up! Radyagrinya!!! , I cried. I don't know what to do. I was shaking and one thing had popped out on my mind. CPR. I was about to begin a CPR to him when I tapped his shoulder to wake him up. "Nina....", Radya's grunted. I placed my hand at Radya's head and he is having a fever. I guided him to my room and layed him down onto the bed. "Radya, I think I'm gonna let you stay here for tonight. I'm worry about you..", then suddenly tears fall down my cheeks. "Please...I hope nothing bad will happen", I cried. Until then, I realised that I had a feelings towards Radya. Something longing? Pity? I don't know. I fell asleep beside Radya.

The next morning had come. "Nina", Radya wake me up. "Omg, Radya! You're awake" , I hugged him tightly. "I was worry to death last night! How dare you", I cried and tap his shoulder. "l'm sorry..", suddenly his voice cracks up. "What's wrong with you?", I worried. "My dad kick me out from my house", Radya confessed. "What? Why?", I shocked. "Promise me that you're not gonna disgust at me for having a dad like him", Radya hesitated. "I promised. It's okay to tell", I comforted him while patting his shoulder. "My dad has another woman", "He.. He.. I caught him having a.. In his room...", Radya cried. "I know..he's like that since my mom had gone", Radya cried hardly. "It's okay, Radya. You can stay with me", I hugged him. "I don't have anyone living with me...not even my parents...", I tried to smile. Radya stopped crying and hold my face.

"You...don't have anyone with you? Not even your family members..?", his eyes widened. "Yeah", I replied regrettedly. "Nina, I promise..starting today, I will take care of you", he hugged me snugly to comfort me from sadness.

--Beach Party--

"Are you gonna come later?", said one of my bestfriends on the phone. With mind still undecided, "Hmm, i don't see any reason why i have to go." Humming along some random songs, I giggled. "Girl, come on. Did you not forget him?! Your secret admirer", she said with a teasing tone. "Whatever". I ended the call suddenly Radya smashed my lips with his. "Who's your secret admirer?". He hold my hand beside my head. "It was you". I pushed Radya on the mattress and sit on his abdomen. "All of my besties doesn't have any idea that we lived at the same house for all this time." I kissed Radya's lips passionately. "Oh, so they thought that all this time I'm your secret admirer?" "Yes Radya". I kissed Radya's neck while he stop me for a while. "Nina, let's join the beach party. I bet you that it's going to be fun".

Both of us getting ready to go at the beach. I wear a white loose sweater with a blue jeans. And Radya wear his blue jeans and white tank top. I did my routine make up when suddenly Radya knocked the door, "Nina, are you ready? Fuck! You look so beautiful" he exclaimed. "Hey Babe, can you help me to fix my eyebrow? Doesn't it look weird?", I am not sure on how to fix my eyebrow makeup. "Pretty", Radya smiled as his hand traces my eyebrow. It was the most sincere smile I have seen. "Let's go"

Radya drove his 1966 LINCOLN CONTINENTAL 4-DOOR CONVERTIBLE and about 15 minutes we finally had arrived. "Where should we park?", Radya's eyes widened. "It's better we park a bit far from the centre point. Cuz you know I don't want people to see us together", I shyly told Radya. "Okay if that's the case", Radya parked a few kilometers from the main parking lot. Both of us get out from the car and go separate ways.

I go to meet my besties at the Cafe nearest the beach. "Look who's coming. I thought you're not gonna come. I dare you to make a move with Radyagrinya", my besties teased.
