Turn 14 - The Duel sharks

Meanwhile in another part of kumoto city casey was wandering around, she had 2 duel cards now, her own and another from someone she must have defeated. Her coat tail blew in the gentle breeze as she walked along the roads in the suburbs, her duel disk at the ready for when her next challenger would come along. She wanted to win the tournament but another thought crept up into her mind, if she was to lose especially in an early on round...how would it affect her families reputation?

"time to find my next opponent..." Casey said to herself, walking along the path before her. She did not feel a great deal of pressure from her duels up until now but being in a tournament hosted by her own father seemed to bring some level of insecurity to her. She did not want to bring harm to her families reputation so she decided she would fight until she got to the very top.

"hey there girlie...wanna have some fun?" a young man looking around 17 or maybe even 18 walked by casey and started to look her up and down, he had an open red shirt on with a white vest underneath and light blue jeans with the ankles rolled up, he had dark brown sandals on and on his back was a large grey backpack. He had unkempt blonde hair and a slight stubble on his lightly blushed skin, he had grey eyes that just seemed to keep looking casey all over without fail.

"umm could you stop leering at me?" casey asked politely at first but kept walking, trying to get away quickly.

"Oh come on honey I'm just looking to have some fun...so how's about we both go on a date?" The man grabbed casey's hand.

Casey's eyes widened and she turned around, pulling her arm away and slapped him across the face with her other hand. "Don't just grab me! What the fuck is wrong with you!"

The man fell back on the floor, a big red hand print on his cheek. "OW!! WHAT WAS THAT FOR???" The man shouted and then jumped to his feet. "Why'd you go and do that?"

"You just grabbed me out of the blue! How else should I react? Besides I'm not interested in going on a date with you!" Casey stated in a harsh and angry tone.

"AWWW COME ON!" the man practically started to beg, getting onto his knees and putting his hands together.

"No...I'm not looking to go on a date anyway...I'm looking for a duel so unless you're a duellist get lost!" Casey said to him, raising her voice slightly and seeming to get even more angry.

The man began to perk up and smirk slightly as he jumped up to his feet and looked at casey. "If it's a duel your after then look no further! I the great carlos el quince shall be your opponent!" carlos pulled out a standard kaiba corp duel disk from his backpack, strapping it to his left wrist.

casey glared at the man and then she strapped her own duel disk to her arm too. "I take it you're in this tournament?" She asked in a blunt tone.

carlos smirked as he slotted his deck into the deck slot of his duel disk.

both duellists looked at each other, casey with a harsh glare and carlos with his smirk. "Duel!"

Turn 1(Casey)

"I'll take the first turn! Draw!" Casey drew her card, now holding 6 cards in hand. "I'll play rogue doll in attack mode!" Casey placed the card and before her appeared her rogue doll. "Then I'll set a card and end my turn." Casey set a card and then ended her turn.

Turn 2(Carlos)

"I'll make a bet with you...if I win then you and I are going on a date!" He drew his card, having 6 cards in hand. "Now I'll play my trusty nin-ken dog!" Carlos played the card and before him in a gust of wind appeared a being with light brown fur, he had a red kenpo gi on which had a blue belt and a blue scarf and on his back a katana with a black hilt. (Nin-ken dog – LV4/ATK1800/DEF1000) "now I'm gonna attack! Get her ninken dog!" Carlos Nin-ken dog charged at casey's rogue doll and then went to slice it clean in half with its blade.
