Sitting at my vanity table I removed the towel around my head placing it into the clothes bin. I blow dry and straighten my brown waist length hair. Opening my makeup draw I put on concealer, light foundation, face powder, a touch of eye shadow, mascara and fruity lip bam.
Opening the accessory draw I put on my red and black studs with my red hand watch. Grabbing my vanilla body spray I sprayed it over my head stepping my body into the fragrance.
"This is as good as its gonna get. I do hope you notice me this time Alex".
With a huge sigh, standing in front of my full mirror I looked over and sent a kiss to myself in admiration. Grabbing my red and black book bag hanging on the closet door I quickly stuff my books, keys and S7 into it. Shutting my bedroom door I made my way towards the kitchen for breakfast.
"You looking nice." Mom says as she looks me over then lays down a bowl of cereal for me to Munch on.
"Thanks mommy". I say looking up at her with a huge grin on my face.
"You welcome filho".
Bending my head I began to eat while mom had camomile tea. The alarm went off letting us know that we have 5minutes left before we are to leave for work.
"Are you done meu dice filho??"
"Yes mamma."
I quickly got up and did the dishes. The final alarm went off. Making sure we both have everything mom locks up our tiny apartment and we both head out to catch up to the first morning bus.
Mom has been a maid ever since she and I migrated from Portugal. I was only 6months old so I don't remember anything about our country except from pictures my mom brought with her here.
My mom works all the way in Beverly hills so we have to take two buses, the train and a cab to get to the Romano family mansion.
