Chapter 3: Meeting RWBY

"Haahh..."

Leaning back in her chair, Glynda released a sigh.

She took her glasses off for a moment, placing them on her desk and slowly massaged the bridge of her nose.

"The amount of papers I need to deal with sometimes..." she grimaced upon glancing at the pile of leftover paperwork in front of her.

She then leaned over and grabbed a small picture frame that she had stashed away on the desk. The frame had two pictures in it.

One was of Glynda and her sister, standing side by side. Behind the teacher was Ozpin, situated a little off to the side while behind (M/n) stood a tall, muscular man with (H/c) hair and (E/c) eyes.

This was (F/n) (L/n), (Y/n)'s father. Unlike his son, the man had no visible scales on his face however, an observant eye would notice the cut like markings around his eyes, left over after his scales fell off.

He also had a long but slender reptilian tail, which was wrapped around his wife's waist.

The second picture showed only Glynda and (M/n), holding up a tiny baby together.

That baby was obviously (Y/n).

Glynda smiled fondly as she brushed her finger over the pictures, a small tear rolling down her cheek as she remembered the funeral.

And with a brief sigh, she put the picture frame away and returned to her work.

flap flap-!

"..Huh?"

Until she heard the faint sound of flapping outside her window.

Her eyebrow raised as she stood up and headed toward the window.

"(Y-Y/N)?!"

Her eyes widened to the size of dinner plates and her glasses almost fell off her nose when she saw her nephew, flying away from the school at high speeds and headed toward the town of Vale.

She stood there in shock, watching as her precious (Y/n) flew further and further away. She was eventually snapped out of it by the sound of a ship's engine roaring to life, causing her to glance down at the landing pad.

There, she saw Velvet running for the ship with nigh inhuman speed. Watching as the faunus girl all but leaped on board, followed by team JNPR, Glynda herself moved to head toward the bullhead, but it flew off before she could take a single step.

So she did the next best thing. She messaged Ozpin.

Glynda: Ozpin!

Ozpin: Glynda?

Ironwood: Glynda?

Qrow: Qrow!

Ironwood: Qrow...

Qrow: Ironwood...

Ozpin: James.

Ironwood: Ozpin!

Qrow: Hehe...

"Wait, the fu-..." Glynda then noticed she was typing in a group chat titled "Ozpin's Super Secret Group".

Mentally slapping herself, Glynda switched over to her private chat with Ozpin.

Glynda: Ozpin, (Y/n) just left the school!

Ozpin: But how? The school is too big for him to go unnoticed, not to mention you left him with Mrs. Scarlatina right?

Glynda: His wings appeared! And he was flying FAST!
