It's dark and dreary today. You could say it was the perfect setting for a funeral. In fact, one was being held right now. The cemetery was filled with hundreds of heartbroken witches and wizards at this very moment. All of them were waiting patiently to put the most well known wizard to rest ...
Ron breathed deeply to gather his strength before walking up to the tarp that hid a fresh tombstone for its dramatic reveal and turned to the crowd, "We have all gathered here to put my friend ..." Ron choked slightly on his words seemingly in pain, "my dear friend, Harry Potter, to rest. We all played a part in ending this war ... if only Harry could've lived to see it."
Sobbing was heard throughout crowd as the words sank in. Once a respectful silence spread throughout the crowd again Ron pointed his wand at the tarp. With a dramatic flick of the wrist the tarp fell revealing the tombstone, but it revealed much more than anyone expected ...
There carved on the stone was, 'Here lies an unknown muggle who was murdered by Ron Weasley so he could attempt to use it as a replacement for Harry Potter who is alive. May he Rest In Peace.'
The silence remained, but there was a definite shift in the crowd. Everyone, even Ron's family, was staring at the tombstone in shock. As the information sank in Ron recalled something that happened only two days ago ...
Flashback
Ron opened the door and smiled when he saw Hermione standing, "Hermione I'm glad-"
"What's this about you finding Harry's body?! We've only searched a day and that blast from the remaining Death Eaters blowing themselves up after Voldemort was killed caused a lot of chaos. You couldn't have found and identified a body that fast!" Hermione snapped.
"I did." Ron said with a frown as he tried hug her, but she moved away.
"I refuse to believe that Harry is dead! If you're so sure then let me see him!" Hermione demanded.
"Hermione, you really don't want to. His body was so damaged it wasn't even possible to identify him through scanning spells. There was only a tiny amount of his magic was left ..." Ron said pulling her into a hug and held her despite the clear tense feeling in her frame, "I know it's hard, but I'm here for you ... Harry is dead. We need to except that and move on. In fact, let's move on together. When Harry's will is read I'm sure we'll have enough to live a comfortable life together no matter how many kids we have."
Hermione backed away and looked at him as if she was seeing a disturbing face she never saw before, but then smiled sadly, "Perhaps you're right ... can I see the tombstone before anyone else?"
"Of course." Ron grinned ...
Flashback Over
Ron's gaze landed on Hermione who was smirking, "What'd you do?!" He snapped angrily.
"I enchanted it-" Hermione paused as she spotted Ron's hand grip the wand hard, "Don't even think of it." She warned expecting Ron's temper to get the best of him and it did.
Molly gasped as her son shot a curse at Hermione, "RON!"
It seemed like no one was close enough to stop it. Hundreds of people there, but none could help. At least, that's what it seemed like. However, despite Hermione never moving the curse was deflected ten feet before it hit her.
"What?" Ron glared more than a little confused.
A familiar voice was heard coming from the air in front of Hermione, "Now Ron, you can't really believe it'd be that easy to get rid of me, right?" The voice spoke before a shimmer of fabric was seen and Harry Potter revealed holding his trusted invisibility cloak.
