I looked at myself in my vanity mirror. My only issue at this point was what to wear. Either a short dress or a t-shirt and shorts. I wasn't sure what he preferred, even though we have been darting for almost a year now. I decided to dress more casual for this date. Of course, I still put in some effort to look...mediocre. But, by this point, he shouldn't really care about what I am dressed in, or how I look that evening. I walked over to my closet and grabbed out a minty-green, short-sleeved, crop top. It had white stripes and a subtle V-neck. Then I threw on some old white shorts. I put on my classic white high top converse and walked over to my bed. I sat down and looked at my phone. Right at that moment my boyfriend, Drew, texted me. He had been acting a little weird for the past week. Like something had been going on. I just acted like nothing happened, and will probably continue to act that way.
"I'm here," he said.
I replied with, "Okay, on my way out," and walked out the door.
