Lisa and Chanwoo then walked a little bit further from the camp. They were looking for some woods, Chanwoo took everything he saw on the way while Lisa still needed to find one.
"Lisa, by the way, everyone has been talking about you. Do you know?" he started the conversation.
Lisa glanced over him, "Talking about?"
"Your dance. Everyone has been saying how good you are. Like, you are almost in the same level as Seulgi sunbae. That's what everyone says though and I have yet to watch you guys dance so I can judge." He let out a small chuckle.
Lisa couldn't help herself but smiled upon hearing these compliments from Chanwoo. She felt grateful that everyone now started to like her even though it was only a bit but at least other students started to recognize her.
Lisa then realized that Chanwoo had collected so many woods while Lisa had barely. She wanted to help and she decided to go further, ahead of him.
"Hey, Lisa. Please don't go too far okay?" Chanwoo said and Lisa gave him a thumb up then started walking again.
Lisa was somehow excited and had been collecting a few woods now. She just followed whenever her feet dragged her not realizing she entered deep into the woods. She looked up to the sky and she wondered why it was dark since there was a few hours until evening until she noticed there were clouds which showed it would be raining soon. She thought she needed to go back now.
She turned around and then followed the path where she came, she thought it would lead her back to where she and Chanwoo separated but guess she was wrong. She was lost and all alone. Her surrounding was surely unfamiliar. She started panicking but she still remembered to control herself. With a few woods on her arms, she started controlling her breathe and trying to think. She felt like crying but she decided to keep moving.
Meanwhile, Chanwoo was back at the camp and he spotted Irene and Seulgi near the campfire. He proudly put the woods he had been collecting on the ground. Then she started to look around looking for this particular girl. He kept looking around while frowning and he felt the sudden guilt inside himself.
"Oh my God..." he mumbled under his breathe but it was loud enough for Seulgi to hear it.
"What is it?" she asked.
"I-I think I lost Lisa in the wood."
"You what??" Seulgi said loudly which was heard by Irene who stood not far from her.
"What happened?" Irene walked closer to Seulgi.
"Lisa and I went to collect some woods. But Lisa walked further ahead of me but I already told her not to go far; we kind of going in separate ways. I thought she was here already b-but I think she's still there." Chanwoo explained.
"Oh my God...." Irene massaged her forehead because it would become her responsibility since she was the president if anything happened to Lisa.
"Why did you leave her all alone?! It's going to rain soon, goddammit!" Seulgi couldn't control herself as she was worried Lisa was all alone by herself and she knew this girl was too weak to be left alone in the wood.
"Why are you screaming so loud? What happened?" Jennie came to the group followed by Rosie and Jisoo. She read Seulgi and Irene's expression which looked so worried plus scared but she had no idea what was happening right now.
"He...he left Lisa in the wood." Seulgi said. Jennie's eyes got widen in shock and her heart started to race. Rosie was also shocked and she covered her mouth with her hands.
"What?!" Jennie then turned to Chanwoo. Her eyes were seen full of anger. She grabbed him by his collar. "Are you playing some sort of pranks on her?! Huh!" everyone got startled by the sudden action from Jennie especially Chanwoo.
"No, Jennie. Listen, he and Lisa went to collect some woods but they went separate ways. Now, Lisa is still there probably trying to find her way. It's going to rain soon so I guess we have to go and find her as soon as possible. I will ask Hanbin to go find her." When Irene was about to look for Hanbin, Jennie stopped her.
"No. Let me. I am familiar with this place." Jennie released her grip on Chanwoo's collar. "I am going by myself. Can't risk other people to get lost on the way too."
"What? No! Let the other guy do it, Jen. It's too dangerous." Rosie came up to Jennie not letting the girl went by herself.
"I have to do it, Rosie." Jennie looked at the taller girl and then turned her head, started walking. She jogged to her tent and grabbed a folded umbrella and a flashlight then she disappeared into the wood leaving Rosie in confusion while Jisoo stayed by her side.
Jennie ran deep into the wood; she panted hard while looking around. It was already dark and she had to switch on the flashlight.
"Lisa! Lisa!" Jennie screamed out loud hoping for a response but none. "Damn it!" she kept looking and she was scared something bad would happen to Lisa. She stopped and then shook her head trying to push that thoughts away. She then continued running.
The rain had poured and Jennie had the umbrella unfolded while she kept looking for Lisa. It felt like she was already searching in most of the area but Lisa had yet to be found. She didn't give up and kept walking until she saw a small gazebo upfront. Jennie found a little hope that Lisa was there for a shelter. She ran toward the gazebo and there she saw Lisa was lying on it, curled herself up, as if trying to warm herself.
"Lisa!" Jennie approached the figure and Lisa slowly opened her eyes.
"S-sunbae...." Her voice cracked. Jennie could not help but took off her jacket and put it on Lisa. Lisa's shirt was soaked and when she put the jacket on it, she could feel Lisa's body was trembling.
"Why did you go alone and separate yourself from Chanwoo?! Are you an idiot?!" Jennie yelled.
Lisa slowly closed her eyes but she still responded to Jennie, "I-I'm sorry....I'm sorry.."
Jennie felt bad for yelling at her but she couldn't help it. She was just worried about Lisa and it was a relief she found her. She was angry at Chanwoo for leaving Lisa alone and now when she found her, she was relieved but she got mixed emotion from it and what came out from her mouth was the opposite of what she actually felt. Jennie just got a bad temper.
"Can you walk? Let's go back to the camp." Jennie continued.
Lisa shook her head while her eyes were still shut, "I-I think I sprained my ankle and I-I am cold."
"What??" Jennie looked so worried. In this condition, it was impossible for Lisa to move so she decided to just stay until the rain stopped.
Jennie sat next to Lisa, she still curled up. She had placed the umbrella on the ground before she sat on the gazebo. She slowly placed Lisa's head on her thighs. Jennie stroked Lisa's arms trying to give her the warm and comfort she needed.
"Why didn't you say anything to me before you go? At least I could have accompanied you." Jennie sighed. She looked at Lisa's face while sleeping and she indeed looked cute. Her wavy dark hair was no more since all her hair got wet from the rain. Jennie hated when she saw Lisa this weak; she knew exactly how this girl tried to look strong and it pissed her off Lisa never fought back the bullies.
Jennie wanted to protect her but she did not want it to look obvious that was why at times she met with the bullies and threatened them if they didn't leave Lisa alone. When she was graduated, she wanted to know whether they still bullied her or not. Since she was not a student anymore, she sent Jisoo to check on her and Jisoo said the bullies decreased. Jennie felt relieved at least she had protected her even though they didn't study in the same school anymore.
