Here's my first random drabble for this book-thing. I don't really know what to call this. It could be a Hybrid or Mutant AU I suppose... I just saw the sentence 'Just letting my fingertips dream.' and knew I had to at least try to make something out of it. Anyways, enjoy!

I had done it.
I had finally escaped from the hands of those that caught and hurt and destroyed.
I didn’t know their names. I hadn’t known anything except for pain and suffering until now.
But now I knew joy. Now I knew joy and relief and happiness, the feelings mixing and tangling together with another that had bubbled up from inside me.
Curiosity, offset by a tiny bit of fear.
But I wouldn’t worry about that now. Right now I was just too happy, relaxing in the thoughts that I had done it, that I was finally here.
I looked up into the expanse of blackness above me that was dotted with pinpricks of light.
And I lifted my hand, not trying to touch anything. Just letting my fingertips dream…
Thats about it. It's really short, I know. Oh well. The zero of you are just gonna have to deal with it :3
