"Going out for lunch?" Paige asked while Emily gathered her belongings from the coaches office by the pool area.
"Yeah, I was gonna see if Alison wanted to eat at Bertucci's today" Emily answered. "I actually need to get away from this place for a few minutes" she added in with a sigh. "Just get away from some of these kids" she spoke referring to the girls on the swim team.
"Yep, I get it" Emily's ex agreed. "So what are we gonna do about them?" She also questioned.
"I don't know" Emily shot back a quick answer. "Y'know when we were on this team we lived and breathed swimming" the brunette spoke with so much passion about the sport. "Coach Fulton couldn't keep us out of the water and each meet we swam like our lives depended on it" she said making Paige twist her mouth and nod her head.
"It's like they don't even care" she took a pause. "I..I don't know I'll figure it out" Emily finished. "I'll be back in thirty...probably" She informed her coworker before leaving the pool room.
While walking out into the hall Emily made her way down to Alison's class stopping right before the door after hearing a males voice.
"I was starting to get worried when you didn't call" the guy said. "Are we still on for next Friday?" He asked making Emily furrow her brows before peeking her head into the room to see Alison standing there with the guy.
"Yeah, I know I'm still available for Friday I've just been trying to wrap my head around all of this" Alison responded with a whisper. "I have a family, Marco" she lowly hissed. "What are you doing here anyway?" The blonde asked him.
"I have a conference here in Rosewood tonight and I just thought that'd I'd drop by" The man confessed. "How have you been?" He asked Alison.
"Not good" Alison quipped. "But you can't be here right now; my wife can't see you" she spoke again watching as Marco's eyes landed on the space behind her making her turn around.
