I sat next to the girl wearing glasses, behind a blonde boy with eyes like the forest. He was cute and appeared to be sweet.

Class had started, but I didn't pay attention since it was basically review. Father taught me three years ahead so I didn't need to pay much attention.

At lunch, I sat in the classroom all by my lonesome as I hadn't made any friends yet.

Soon a blonde girl wearing white framed sunglasses on her head, approached me.

She started a conversation with a touchy subject.

"So I heard you were kidnapped. Is it true?"

"Y-Yeah. I w-was."

Since I was never around people my own age or people in general, I didn't know how to talk to others without a stutter.

She scoffed.

"Liar! I bet you're lying about everything just so people will talk to you and take pity on you so they give you all of their attention."

I hate attention.

"N-No... I'm n-not." I hid behind my hair. I had left it down instead of doing something with it. "I d-don't like a-attention."

"Then why are you lying?"

"I-I'm not l-lying."

I bit my lip.

I was lying about being kidnapped for my cover story, but he really did kidnap me.

"Yeah right!" she scoffed again.

Great! First day of school and someone already hates me.

"I bet you're lying about everything!" she brought her hand up and I flinched.

Hawkmoth would hit me sometimes if Cat Noir and I, as Ladybug, did too good a job on his akumas'.

"Leave her alone Chloé!"

I opened my eyes.

I saw the blonde boy at the door.

Chloé scoffed once again (is that all she can do?) and left the room.

I took a deep breath in.

How do I thank someone?

"You alright?"

"Y-Yeah... I-I'm f-f-fine," I stuttered. Again, I'm not a people person. "Th-Thanks for that."

"If you don't mind me asking, were you really kidnapped?" he asked and I bit my lip.

"Y-Yeah. W-When I was four, th-this is all so n-new to m-m-me."

"Do you have any friends yet?" I shook my head. "Well, now you do. I'm Adrien."

"A friend?" He nodded. "Thanks."

"It's no problem, really. Besides, a friend is the best gift you could give someone."

He smiled.

I gave my heart out to him. He was so kind, I hope father won't akumatize him.

"Wanna hang out after school? You don't have to, I'm just asking."

"S-Sure." I smiled and he smiled back.

The bell rang and thus the students re-entered the room and class started once more.
