Chapter 1 ✨

My name is Asia and I'm a nerd. I go to school at boynton beach community high school in boynton beach fl. I get picked on almost everyday by the popular kids and ball players. There's only one person here that takes up for me and that's trey he's one of the main players on the basketball team. He's cute and very veryyy tall. Anyways I try not to let them get to me and focus on one thing and one thing only which is walking across that big stage when June comes. I'm in my senior year of high school currently. Which means prom is coming up. Which is absolutely great. It's really not , I didn't went last year because I don't have a date and looks like I'm not going this year either. I might just go by myself since it's the only time I'll experience it now since I'm a senior. Well today is Friday which means the day I get picked on the most because there's no school tomorrow and also Because everyone be feeling themselves.
Trey Pov
Wassup y'all it's ya boy trey. I'm the star on the basketball team. All the thots be wanting me but nah I want something that wasn't seen, touched or tasted before. I got my eyes on one girl and that's Asia , she's fine asf . Everyone be calling her a nerd and stuff but that's cute tbh. I like her and today on the way to third period I'm going to ask her to prom as a start. So I'm in class making the posters and stuff and everybody keep asking me " who you taking to prom " " who that's for bro " and etc like d**n I want it to be a surprise. Anyways the bell boutta ring for us to go to lunch which means time for me to propose. So I gave two of my closest homeboys a poster to hold and waited til she walked out her class which was cooking class.
Asia Pov
So as I'm walking out of cooking class I see a big commotion going on in the hallway. I just paid it no attention. Next thing you know trey comes up to me and says " stand right here " then him and his two bestfriends Quan and kJ. One poster said " Asia will " " you please go to prom " " with me ! " and I was shocked I said " trey stop playing, your only doing this to play with my feelings and torture me just like everyone else " I said and walked away hurt. And actually thought he liked me is hurtful. Before I could walk away trey grabbed me and said " nah ma I'm very serious, I liked you for the longest and finally found the courage to ask you beautiful " he replied back with a bouquet of flowers in his hand . I stood there in awe and for the rest of the day I didn't let anyone mean, rude , disrespectful comments get to me....
