Kayla’s POV
"Peaches!!” I screamed into my phone.
“Very funny", Shae said laughing.
“I’m not kidding Shaelym Peachheeeeesss!" I screamed in excitement with a hint of disbelief myself.
"AAAAAAGGGHHGOMGOMG" she screamed before a heard a loud thump “Shae...?"I questioned. I heard faint ruffling noises through the phone.
"Sorry" she replied “I sort of... umm… er…fell of my bed”. There was silence until we both hurled into a laughing fit. “I can’t believe we actually won" she said, after we finally stopped laughing.
Ok so maybe I should introduce myself, my name is Kayla rane,i am 19 years old and live with my sister, summer ,in our small apartment in Brisbane, Australia. Summer is only 12, but has been through a lot so we have a really good relationship. My mum died when I was fifteen and summer was 8, since then it’s just been Summer and I in my apartment. My dad also lives a town away and looks after summer every 2 weeks. We used to all live in his house, but when I decided to move out of home 1 year ago, summer didn’t want me to go so she came to live with me in my apartment. Now who was the girl I was on the phone to??Well that would be my crazy, beautiful best friend Shaelym Goncalves.We've been friends since 8th grade and graduated together last year. She only lives a block away in her apartment. Now about the whole peaches thing, Shae and I are mega directioners. We absolutely love them to bits, but don’t really have a favourite...it’s too hard to pick. Anyways back to the point, we entered a competition for 2 tickets 2 the one direction concert here in Brisbane! And after we entered we had agreed that if we ever won, we were 2 scream peaches! So I guess you’ve caught on now......
“I still can’t believe we won. We were going to be sitting FRONT ROW at the one direction concert in 1 day!” I was so excited as I screamed into the phone, not noticing that it wasn’t even anywhere near my ear. We were also staying in a hotel around the corner from the arena because they competition runners had expected 2 cater for someone from out of town, so we decided to stay there anyways. "ok time to checklist”, I said pulling out the list of what I needed to pack. I had 3 pairs of coloured skinny jeans, a couple of t-shirts, my pair of red vans and my white toms, a black cardigan, toiletries, the necessities and what was I forgetting....oh right Shae had told me that I HAVE to pack at least 1 dress and a pair of flats or heels, and I had agreed, knowing I wasn’t going to win that argument, I decided to go the flats as I wasn’t much of a heels girl. I had finished packing and decided to go to bed after talking to Summer for a while and she had fallen asleep in my arms. Tomorrow was a big day. I had to drop Summer at our dads and then meet Shae at the hotel which was about an hour away. I plugged my earphones in and slowly drifted to sleep to the soft, passionate lyrics of moments...
