His eyes widened in shock when she grabbed him by the collar and pulled him down to kiss her. Before he could react, she moved beside him, locking her arm around his.

"This is my boyfriend." she said to the man in front of them, "So don't bother me anymore."

The man glared at them before stomping off. When she was sure the man was gone, she released his arm and turned to him.

"Sorry, and thank you." she said.

She turned to go, but he wasn't going to let her just take his first kiss like that.

"I'm Lian Huaiwei." he shouted as he ran after her.

Catching up, he bumped her in the shoulder with his. She rolled her eyes, and looked up at him.

"What do you want?" she questioned.

"To know your name." he replied with a dorky smile.

"For what?" she asked.

"So I'll know who my future girlfriend is." Huaiwei answered, shyly trying to avoid her eyes.

She smirked and stopped in her tracks, turning to face him. He turned to her as well. Once again, she grabbed his collar, pulling him down so their faces were only a foot away from each other.

"Look boy, you can't even flirt with me without getting shy at your own pick-up lines." she stated, "Who are you calling your girlfriend?"

"Future Girlfriend." Huaiwei corrected, this time looking straight into her eyes.

She nodded, seeing a tiny spark in his eyes. She stared at his face for a few seconds longer.

"How old are you anyway?" she asked, taking a good look at him once again.

"I'm 20 years old." he replied.

Raising her eyebrows at him and letting out a breath, she released his shirt collar and turned away.

"Too young for me." she stated before walking away.

"But today is my birthday, I'm 21 today." Huaiwei quickly corrected, grabbing her hand.

"Birthday or not, I'm still four years older than you." she informed.

"Just four?" he questioned, "I don't mind."

"But I do." she retorted.

Pushing pass him she walked faster to get away. He ran to block her way.

"You kissed me first." Huaiwei reminded her, "At least repay me with a wish for my birthday."

"Fine, if it would make you leave me alone." she agreed, "What do you want?"

"Be my girlfriend for a day." said Huaiwei.

Without giving her a chance to reply, he grabbed her hand and ran. She ran with him and for once she started to soften up. She loved how he was unwilling to give up despite her teasing him for being shy. She could see the smile on his face and staring at his lips, she thought back to the kiss. A smile spread onto her face as well and suddenly stopping, she pulled him back to face her. Standing on her toes, she pressed her lips onto his once more. His eyes widened in surprise once more. Breaking away, she smiled up to him.

"Happy Birthday."
