Lucy woke up in the middle of the night because she heard Natsu stand up and walk outside. She followed him to see what was wrong. When she got outside, she saw the silhouette of Natsu sitting on the bridge that was near her house. He wasn't doing anything, just sitting there. Lucy walked up and sat next to him. She looked at him and saw tears on his face. She didn't say anything, just wrapped her arms around him and rested her head on his back.
"I'm sorry. I'm sorry." He apologized.
"For what?" Lucy asked. There was nothing to be sorry for.
"I...I shouldn't be crying." Natsu said.
"Why not? Actually, why are you crying?" Lucy said, realising that she didn't even know what was wrong.
"Nothing. It's nothing. I'm okay." Natsu said. He wiped his tears, he didn't want Lucy to see him like that.
"I'm sorry about the other night. But I wasn't lying. I really do love you." Natsu said. Lucy smiled.
" I love you too" she said. Natsu only had to move his face a tiny bit so their lips touched. The kiss wasn't long, but it was nice. Lucy pulled away and said that they should probably go back inside because it was cold. Natsu said okay and they walked to her house.
"So what now?" Natsu said.
"I'm not sure. I've never done this before" Lucy said. Then they both laughed.
"I think we should sleep on it." When they went back inside, Gray, who was now wrapped in Juvia's arms, opened up one eye to look at them, and smiled like he knew what was gonna happen.
Lucy and Natsu curled up under her warm pink blanket, but Lucy still pressed into Natsu. He was warm, and it felt nice because it was cold out. Lucy wished this moment would last forever, but she knew it wouldn't.
