The Deadly cats

a disturbing awakening

Life was good for Lucas, he had happy and loving parents, friends, a good teacher and a beautiful house.  After school he biked home with a grin on his face and he did his chores then sat down to watch his favorite show on TV, curled up with his favorite cat, Rocky.  then after his show he would help make dinner and tonight he was helping make beef stroganoff and for dessert he made banana cream pie.  Once he finished dinner and dessert he started to get ready for bed.  When he fell asleep he had a strange dream... it was about cats and something to do with humans.  When he woke up he found a gruesome awakening.  His parents were dead in their bed but not killed by a gun or anything, it was scratches and bite marks.  The first thing he noticed about them was that pieces of them were missing and were nowhere to be seen!  He went closer but the stench of bad breath and rotting flesh kept him away.  He found short hair all over blood, pieces of flesh and scratches everywhere.  He soon got dressed and found that his own door had scratches!  After getting dressed he found that the creature had gotten in from Rocky's cat door and found that rocky was nowhere to be seen!  He then took a baseball bat from the garage and ran over to his best friends house.  When he got there he knocked, nothing happened, he rang the doorbell, nothing happened. But when he kicked the door he heard a scream from the top of the stairs!  He then opened the door and crept upstairs he looked into his friends parents' bedroom and there was the same scene: parents dead and hair, bite marks, blood and pieces missing.  He then went to his friends room but the room was locked! He kicked the door down and heard his friend jump, he was still alive.  "What happened?" asked Lucas.  "I was sleeping nicely until I heard scratching at my door I crept down and quietly locked it.  Then I heard lots of scratching in my parents bedroom and I've been hiding ever since." said Jackson.  Then Lucas told Jackson about his experience and found them similar. Jackson got dressed quickly and got another bat from the garage and they both went out to find the creature that had done this...
