The scientist muttered angrily to himself. His invention was almost complete. He believed with this- and the cure for cancer, he would change the world. But oh, hs was so wrong.
As he adjusted and fixed wires it sparked to life. The robot. The robot who was more advanced and well, looked human enough to pass as human. Ethan let out a whoop of joy, not caring if it was three am and he would wake his neighbors. His invention was complete.
Ethan brought the robot out to the drive way. He gripped the controller. He pushed the button, Ethan felt the controller warm up and he knew blood and the heart was bumping. His invention was alive. He let out another cry of joy.
The robot sputtered to live. He stared blankly across the drive way. He turned towards Ethan. His eyes blue as an ocean, his soft brown freckles mixed with his jet black hair. His face lit with joy at the sight of his first human. “How may I assist you sir?" The robot spoke.
Ethan approached the robot, his hands shaking with fear now. It- it spoke to him. His precious invention was working as planned. With this he would be able to to fix everything. He took the robot's hand then spoke gently his gravelly voice soft, “this is- this is the best day ever," Ethan whispered his voice giddy with joy.
Ethan took the robot inside and sat him on the couch. “I assume you're hungry, am i clear?" He spoke his voice ruff. “No sir. I do not need to eat" the robot spoke his voice an ai Ethan programmed from his computer. “I think not, you'll eat this sandwich and drink this water." He spoke as he made the sandwich and added ice to the water. He handed it to the robot. Ethan stared him in the eyes.
“i'll think I'll call you, Robbie."
