Love is forever, life isnt

It was a cold chilly winter night of 2009

I didn't know it was your last breath,

Your face dropped out of the world, like time was a problem

Where was you goodbye?

Your laugh, smile, and hugs that are sweet as honey

Is all gone like how a dandelion loses its seeds when you blow,

The motto you always said sticked into my brain,

Like it was tattooed on.

Before you finished your story

You held me in your twig arms,

The sweet hugs were no more

It was weak, just as a new born

The lullaby you sang with love was no more

This time your voice was shaky and scratchy,

Like when you run forever or when you scratch your nails on a black board.

That was the last i heard

Before I fell asleep, into darkness

Cold and confused.

Something was not right

The next day, it was gloomy

All the flowers were no longer colorful,

Like the life got sucked out of them

A little girl dressed in all black was looking at me,

I didn't want to look at the dull, lifeless girl

She was me

The family went into a creepy strange house,

Inside you were sleeping

Couldn't move or breath,

Like the place had a curse on you

Tears falling down like waterfalls

They couldn't stop if they wanted to,

The stormy night before

Your soul decayed from your body.

All the warmth was gone

Now your a cold hard stone,

You couldn't break if you wanted to.

I go on my knee caps

My body screamed for me to stop

The brown hair falling into my face

As I bring my head down to my

Shaky small hands

'Love is forever, life isn't right?'

I asked below a whisper

A clear tear dropped and landed

On your cold hand.
